A close friend of mine's behavior has me very worried lately. For starters, I guess it's worth explaining that he is almost unbelievably mild mannered, as is his twin brother, but as the years have gone by, I've gotten more and more of an impression that he's repressing a lot of pent...

The Wire season 3...

SPOILER: Show
Damn, they done killed off my favorite character. I guess Stringer really was slipping pretty hard after McNulty got to Brianna regarding D'angelo's death, though.

All of the sudden Bomby has become shy again like he was as a child. WTF. I guess given the situation, it makes perfect sense. An old acquaintance has been posting her art to Facebook, which I actually quite like, and it's made me curious to reconnect with her since I never really saw her artsy ...

Lee Chang-dong's Poetry Lee is another contemporary Korean director I could heap piles of praise upon. This might be my favorite film of his yet, which is quite the statement considering how much I also adored Secret Sunshine . I can think of few films that manage to be simultaneously dark and u...

Aaahhh... just itching in anticipation to see Kim Yuna in action again. Might have to change my avatar in honor of her. But seriously I'm so sick of hearing the NBC people pronounce her name "yoo-na" or "유나" when it's supposed to be "yeon-ah" or "연아." ...

That game wad hilarious. As a fellow Badger, I wanted to see Russell Wilson win, but man, that was way more than I expected. What a defense! (But srsly Bruno Mars should have been named MVP holy crap what a performance. I'm pretty certain he was on field longer than the Broncos' offense....

A few days ago I was thinking about who I would consider to be my all time favorite actors, and Philip Seymour Hoffman was the first male actor to come to mind. Needless to say, I was saddened to hear of his passing.

The Master, indeed.

Peace.

What. The. Hell. I set up an interview tomorrow for a job that seemed kind of like what I was looking for, and I was preparing for it and studying more about the company, and now I get a call saying that they've cancelled all of tomorrow's interviews because they've already filled the th...

It's ramyun, which is essentially the Korea version of ramen. I kind of have an addiction to it. It's wonderfully spicy and delicious, though like Japanese ramen, not exactly the healthiest food in the world. In spite of its lack of nutritious value (minus the Korean chili powder, which ...

Before Midnight I really enjoyed it... ... both in spite of and because of how it was so painfully honest about relationships. Jesse & Celine were never going to be as satisfied as we wanted them to be, because relationships that start as quickly and passionately as theirs are doomed to falter ...

Day 2: still no luck, though I actually forced myself to sing all the parts. I think I'm going to try again next time I have availability to record in a softer voice...
