Here's Ep. 07, including the work Ath's already done. [url]http://wiki.evageeks.org/FGC:Episode_07_Translation Actually, the first part of Scene 01 was translated by SSD. I've been working on Scene 05-08 but I need to clean up the mess before uploading it. I think I'll complete the ...

That's just a transcription of the Platinum Edition subs. It only covers the dialogue, so we're using it as a placeholder until we're able to get a proper translation which includes the scene descriptions.

Good lord, my Engrish on that page... :crybaby: Sorry about that  Anyway, we could try to translate just the scene descriptions and then use a mix of the Platinum subtitles and the LTP script for the dialogue. Most of the descriptions are relatively simple, as they're often just explainin...

Well, we do have a translation for Episode 19, if we ever get bored enough to do the commentary out of order... Then again, while I've gotten the impression that speaking it/getting the grammar seems to be relatively easy, reading Japanese is probably a bitch/will take more than a beginner's...

I know this post is OT, but I've never found a thread where to discuss the non-English dubs of NGE, so... The old NGE dubbing was probably my favourite one back in the days I don't have a lot of experience with dubs, but I can say pretty much the same thing. At least, it's good as long a...

Yes. I live in Italy. I saw Eva 2.22 on January 1st, but if I remember correctly, it was aired for the first time 2 or 3 days before Christmas 2010, always on Rai 4. They aired 1.11 on the 23rd and 2.22 on the 30th, to be more precise. Uncensored and uncut, of course... too bad they cut off the pre...

Incidentally, one of the Italian localizations went to the trouble of doing research -- i.e., drawing from actual Japanese print sources -- when they wrote up booklets for their release... Do you mean the "Evangelion Encyclopedia" that they included with the first few volumes of their VHS...

As much as I hate to admit it, I don't know how to make good-looking tables in wiki format. I can modify existing ones with a lot of guess-work, but if you look at the history of the Japanese releases page, Ath was the one who actually created the format and the tables. Sorry if I'm a littl...

Oh yes, definately there are still more additions that were not in Death. For example, all the additional footage in 23' of unit 00 becoming the angel tower and then a GNR. I mean, they're not in the Death (true)² that we all know, but are we sure that they weren't included in t...

Episodes 23 and 24 are currently unavailable. I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I plan to work on them and also finish 22 while I upload them to the Commentary in the next few weeks. @Reichu : do you still have the material you once prepared for 22'? I've read somewhere that you compile...

Feel free to rewrite and fix my horrible grammar if you need, I know my English still sucks at times. Sorry... 029: As usual, somebody got Ritsuko's eyebrows wrong. I haven't counted (yet!) how many times it happens, but I bet that's the most common coloration error in the show. ...

...even more confusingly the Commentary has storyboards of ep 5 as Shinji Higuchi too, whereas platinum booklet clearly indicates they're by Kiichi Jinme (pen name of Junichi Sato) Furthermore episode director for Rei I is Keiichi Sugiyama and Hiroyuki Ishido for Rei II in platinum book...

I'm a bit confused who storyboarded this episode: Platinum booklets give credits to Masayuki but here in our own ep 6 credits list Shinji Higuchi is named instead. That's interesting. Both ADV's and Dynit's Platinum ep #06 ending credits give Shinji Higuchi as stoyboarder, but the k...

Thanks for this web page. After looking over these changes, it is my belief that they shouldn't had made a special video version of the film and leave the film as it should be in the first place. The Video version just ruins the uniqueness of the Feature film that differentiates itself from the...
