4) I'm guessing you mean one soul (that of the live organism) devouring/overtaking another (that of the dead/less dominant [in the case that a predator were eating its prey alive] organism) here. Something else that irks me about this is that the same soul (or perhaps fra...

4) I would go as far to say that those were exceptions as well. Otherwise it is inconsistent with 1, 2, and 3, i.e. recycled biomass. 5) I put this here on a whim, but it mainly refers to how things without a soul, that are living, albeit those things are composed of PWM, are not tanged. And...

I seem to have found the thread with Monk Ed's heresy... I tend to like his theory, to say the least. I haven't gotten around to analyzing the specifics yet, and probably won't unless i have reason to, but it the theory seems valid with the assumptions made. LCL-based life doesn't ma...

Back on the idea that instrumentality was an exception. This makes sense because: 1) day to day life in the eva universe proceeds normally, and at the death of a living organism, nothing special happens 2) by treating souls as an energy property of objects, this either means that the soul is...

I would think the soul dies with the body and decays with it. Definitely clumsy... then again, reading the evapedia... but not dead, that would be the same as not existing. The soul is still "alive" as what holds the body together with the AT field. My conclusion is the same as before the...

The Evangelions are clones of Adam I had thought unit 01 was lilith based, like humans, same with Rei. Some more stuff... Yeah, that makes sense, especially thinking about the second impact. I was hoping it was not the case though, it makes for a rather clumsy world. Perhaps it was just wishful thi...

I tend to agree with what S said a while back about how souls are attached to the body (this brings up an interesting question on how living things without souls can still hold form though. i.e. Rei's extra bodies, and eva's before obtaining one). I'm tempted to say that instrume...

I'm not sure if Evangelion is my absolute favorite, but it is certainly one of my favorites, probably because of the impact it's had on my thinking. In any case, it's a nice story.

I tend to like Yui. I feel as though she is the most "enlightened" member of the cast.

Those Seele people, particularly Keel, but that's probably just because there's not as much information to go on for the others... I'm sure those members are all as despicable.

Or like which text editor to use. :P

If you decide to work with C/C++ you may also be interested in CUDA. I think it's pretty cool anyway.
