Actually, despite how much I love Evangelion, I'm not looking forward to this live-action movie nor am I expecting it to do well. They've set some high expectations for it, and I think those expectations will be shattered if and when this project arrives. EOE and D&R will always be my fa...

The more disturbing parts of Evangelion are found in End of Eva for me. I actually still dislike seeing the harpies eating EVA-02 alive. I never did like the way the MP Evas looked.

I'm a loner Kensuke fan here. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that I adore his personality. Quite the contrary. I just love the way he looks.

@treeoflife Are you sure? Kaoru - by letting Shinji to decide his faith - showed that his will is his own, not someone else's. Two things caused Shinji's dilemma: are Angels like us, humans? Would Kaoru destroy humanity? I for one would say a yes for the first and a no for the second. You m...

Actually, since Eva kind of takes you for a mindfuck, I don't think I could have an Evathon. I don't want to have dreams of a creepy Lillith-Rei.

Am I the only one who isn't excited about this? Don't you all love when things end for good? Unlike adolescent bands who never know when to end the songs, always stretching them longer and longer. Until it bores. I wish that this new Eva Anno animation has little to do with actual Eva. I do...

I will never get caught up in another anime like Eva. It has that rare philosophical quality to it. A few years ago, I was really into Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, then Cowboy Bebop a short time after. I know a lot of anime out there (I hate most of it) - Inuyasha, Furuba, Wolf's Rain, e...

As long as Tiffany Grant would be replaced, I'm happy.

Though, that's not to say that I enjoyed Spike Spencer.

I watched End of Evanglion at midnight, in utter silence. Let's just say at one point I actually screamed aloud and had to calm down for a few minutes. Add me to the list of people that had been shaken by EoE. Also, now I am very, very scared of Rei. Also, I did NOT sleep well. You guys...

I don't think I'm going to get my hopes up, but I wouldn't mind a prequel or a sidestory. However, an Angelic Days anime would make me vomit. The manga is bad enough.

I never understood how Shinji killed Kaworu.I mean when he had to fight Eva03 with Toji inside it he refused to do it(and he didn't know Toji he was there)because he couldn't kill a child his same age. Then why did he kill Kaworu? Remember that Kaworu would have brought the human rac...

My seven year old cousin watches Eva with me. She doesnt understand it completely but she know all the charcters names and all the obvious stuff. It's pretty obvious that a seven year old can never understand the ethical side of it. But if she can handle the robot fighting and all, I'm sure...

The series itself doesn't have as much complication as the movie. It doesn't really get into philosophical detail or disturbing scenary until towards the very end, and even then, I think an average child or teenager would be able to handle it and understand it. However, the movie is much mor...
