Re: Celebrity RIP Thread

This happened the other day but professional wrestler Jon Huber, formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE and Brodie Lee in AEW, passed away due to a non Covid related lung issue. RIP exalted one. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/.amp/wrestling/2020/12/30/jon-huber-brodie-lee-all-elite-wrestling

Re: What’s your favorite thing about the Christmas holiday?

Watching Home Alone on repeat. My favorite part is getting 2 weeks off of work, and having my families annual Christmas party at my grandmas place, which sadly we won't be doing this year. This will be my youngest sons first Christmas and my 2 year old is helping my wife and I get into the ...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I finally got to watch 'Doctor Sleep', and ended up pretty disappointed in it. Did anyone else feel this way? I really wanted to like it too, I just couldn't get into it. EDIT Honestly not that I wasn't into it. I just thought the villains of the film didn't come off as threatening or scary. Maybe t...

[TV] WWE/AEW/NXT/NJPW Wrestling Thread

Is there enough Interest in having a thread for wrestling? I've been a long time fan, growing up in the "Attitude Era". And with a resurgence in popularity with the new AEW and NXT TV deal and with New Japan Wrestling being as popular as ever, maybe this thread can gain traction. With all ...

Re: FML general thread [8]

Anyway, I can say that my life after 18 is just a painful cycle, uneventful, unimproved or how cliché it may seem, it's like seeing a social, financial or academic evolution of someone around you. Im been standing for half a decade, that's a little scary.

Care to elaborate?

Re: What are you watching right now? (tv series + see OP!)

I finally caught up on the magicians! I marathoned the last 2 seasons just in time for the season 5 premier. I wish I would've read the books before to prepare me, I wasn't expecting a lot of things to play out the way they did. If anyone has just started watching, season 3's episode a life in the d...

^ Congratulations! If you've been with the company for 14 years already, does that mean, you used to be hired on a contract basis and are now a full employee? Why do printers fuck up so often? lol. Thank you robersora and child of Lilith! User error mostly.. I was working as a custodian for a schoo...

Re: Positivity Thread (Good things that happened, you came across, etc.)

^Congrats! I just recently got hired as a computer tech, with the same company I've been with for 14 years. And I got to say the number of printer related issues is to damn high! . In all seriousness though. I'm excited, its a big change, I was scared as hell at first but the guy training m...

Thanks for checking back! I've been worried that some might give up after more than a week, but fortunately it looks as if people are still around. I haven't been on in a while, I randomly decided to check out the site and saw that it was down. I've been checking back almost daily to see if it woul...

Re: FML general thread [8]

Been feeling a bit down lately. Was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed with work and school and felt like everything was just piling up on me. I'm glad the semester is over, but work is still stressful. I am currently working 2 part time jobs, one as a custodian where I will be starting my 14th year...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

I finished ReLife a while back, but just recently noticed the OVA's were on VRV. I'm glad I found them, I don't know why I have a habit of Rewatching old animes, when I get close to finishing one or when i am about to start a new one, God knows my watch list is steadily filling up. While I wish thes...

Re: Welcome to Night Vale (Because No Else Has, Yet)

After their usual holiday hiatus, Night Val is back with a new episode! Once again, the the show seems to be heading back to their old way of doing things rather than the new way they've been portraying stories. I can't wait to listen to it. Been busy the last couple of days so hopefully sometime t...

Re: [Sports] Who's your team?

Should be an interesting game. I have a feeling Patriots are going to take it this year. And this will be the end of the Brady and Belichik era..on that note, I wouldn't mind if the Rams were to win, though the Patriots winning would silence all the Steelers fans who keep reminding everyone they're ...
