Was the ADV Dub really THAT bad?

About a year ago, for the first time, I sat down and watched my torrent of NGE and EoE Dubbed. I remember thinking the acting was pretty damn terrible in the first three or four episodes and then having it grow on me sometime after Asuka was introduced. For Christmas, I was gifted with the entire DV...

The dub did clarify a few little things from the Japanese version of the film, but nothing I can immediately remember unless I'd watch them side by side. One thing I remember is that I liked how the Dub handled Shinji pulling the spears in central dogma a-bit more more so than the original (...

The important part is, I was wearing an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. I got that :) I feel like I'm the only one who buys DVDs still, after talking with my friends, they've all defected to torrents or netflix. Its sad to me, DVDs are sorta something I've started...

FYI, WalrusGuy is a member here. Don't quite remember his username, though.... Looking back on it, I remember quite a few Eva references in his videos. Especially the one his used in Arthur's Massive Throbbing Hit, which if I remember correctly, was one of his videos. [url]http://www.youtub...

It has Earthbound's quirky sense of humor and atmosphere, but plays like A Link to The Past.

Bought it for cheap on steam. Its a really awesome indie game that channels things like A Link to The Past and Earthbound. Every little thing in it that happened with a new level was awesome to me. It was just flat out awesome...and thats awesome!

Decisive Battle Remix

I didn't see a topic for music pieces, so I'm just gonna post this in a new thread; ahem Awhile ago I realized, after downloading every Evangelion soundtrack I knew of, I had at least 11 remixes of Decisive Battle. Sooooo I merged (most of) them together based on the drum beats and m...

Third part. Well, that came out a little faster than I remember the last one did. Kudos to the maker. Anyway, things I made note of while watching this: Less is More: I disagree with his thoughts on NGE vs. NME on the less is more aspect, this mostly applies to the Angel battles however. I feel lik...

I was re-watching the original series of NGE, when something caught my eye in episode 22. ^ Oooh I like it, actually I've started to read you comic and as of now am enjoying it. I don't usually draw in the anime style, or even draw on model. I prefer to try to adapt characters into my own style and draw them based on their personalities or character traits. Pretty much only drawi...

Its always been little details for me. I love going back to the series and movies and noticing details and symbolism I had missed. Of course I don't tend to discuss this with my friends that often, so as I don't look pretentious in my views on a "cartoon." Also End of Eva is in a c...

I have, it was quite good. The only thing putting me off is the marines being too accurate on the Hard difficulty. I actually rage quit at the end of Questionable Ethics.
I think I'll try that part again now, wish me luck!

Replaying the original Half-Life considering one of my friends just bought it and Half-Life 2.
Also trying to actually beat Majora's Mask. I've never done a complete play-through before. Named Link: Dipshit, hilarity ensues.
