Rei + Angel = 3rd impact??

If Rei carries lilith's soul why doesn't the this create a third impact when the angel fuses with her?

Yeah i am going to be very annoyed if 4.0 is just going to be "Shinji Ikari Show Part IV." it would be extremely disappointing to not flesh out any of the other characters more.

i dont understand why they cant just extend the movie series. they seem to be generating a lot of profit for it and a lot of people dont mind paying to watch more of it. if anything theyre trying so hard to cram so much material into 4 movies since they have material for waaay more.

i really think Asuka is alluding to the fact that Misato had been the one to urge Shinji on in order to save Rei in 2.0, and as a result the third impact occurred. this all occurred because of the desire to save one person.
