Re: How do you feel about NTE? + Rank the movies!

1: OK there's too many shots just straight-up lifted from the original, what's the point? Least it improved and expanded on Operation Yashima. Just seems kinda boring but there's hints this isn't just a remake so let's hope this goes places. 2: Shit yeah things are heating up and getting interested....

I'm healthy as a horse! :ting:

Actually I guess I'm sorta malnourished and ought to be eating some vitamins for it, but I AM doing fine and pretty much never go to a hospital, clinic or dentist.

Well I've seen it maybe four or five times in the past two years altogether, months inbetween. Why would I want to start right over after finishing it? That just detract from the replay value.

Reading the topic I had an answer. Reading your post, you had the same. I don't think anyone hates Shinji per se, just maybe some of his aspects and actions. And even then it might be because he is too much alike us, and won't be the hero and do the things we want to imagine we ourselves wou...

Haven't picked that box up yet, actually. You mean there's a bunch of new voices there? How about Mr. Epcar? Or the guy that's done Aramaki in every english dub since '96?

I don't have a knuckle on my right pinky. My big sister pissed me off and I punched a chair in anger, not quite breaking the bone but it got all misshapen and still is.

LAEM might be in trouble then. Have you no respect for continuity!? Rebuild dubbed into english with Spencer, Keith and the rest would be awesome! I mean, Tenchi Muyo is (in hindsight) shit, but had they only managed to convince Petrea Burchard to portray Ryoko once again for the final OAVs,...

I have the rare and braggable ability to immerse myself completely (granted it's a good movie/game/whatever), so I seldom see plottwists coming up no matter how many hints are dropped beforehand. So no, having my immersion killed only happens when my parents start bugging me. Seriously, ...

Sounds believable enough. Fingers and toes bleed more vigorously than any part of your body, except maybe your scrotum but I can't vouch for that. Doesn't really count, but I could have been killed today. I was at a plaza in Stockholm looking at records when people started whispering about g...

Long story short: If you ever have to get a shot in your toe, do everything in your power to avoid it. I got to where I'd just sit around and literally tear the side of my toe off to get the ingrown toenail out so I didn't have to go get those shots. I thought this was pretty common problem...

Oh yeah, they're all different stories. My favorite is the one where I nearly broke my pelvis from being tackled for a video project. All things considered, I still don't think I put myself on the line enough. Only went to the hospital for the broken leg thing. I also have a friend who broke...

Just over a decade ago, I fell out of my bunkbed sleepwalking. Weirdest thing was I awoke standing, on the verge of succefully climbing down from there. But all I remember is waking up starting a free fall backwards, then going back to sleep again. Next time I woke up was maybe 3 seconds later, on t...

My condolences, because this thread is not nearly full enough of them.

Fred Phelps is seriously gonna picket his funeral for being a good sport to gay people. But he's threatened to this kinda thing before, so no biggie.

Yeah, but the PS3 is (disregarding the "multimedia-machine" bullshit) aimed only at gamers, TV is supposed to concern EVERYONE. Percentage-wise, it's probably doing about as poorly.

It's funny, the HD/Blu-Ray players noone wants are designed for HD TV-sets noone wants either. Considering the target audience, this failure is almost even more epic than the PS3. The best thing that comes out of the whole mess is that they're selling off DVD's cheap now that there's...
