I only watched the dub of Shin and I wasn’t too impressed. The script itself didn’t bother me much but the performances all sounded off too me with the exception of Shinji and Asuka. Everybody else sounded like they were just reading from a page instead of acting. I liked John Swasey’s hammy perform...

Most likely ebay, or some other used distributor....funimation has a tendency to make changes to their releases whenever they feel like it unfortunately.

Due to Funimation pushing back the US release, this has also effected the UK release as well.
New date for UK release is August 25, 2014.
