Re: Fantastic Beasts and where to find them

Hmm, looks interesting. I'll probably check it out, seeing as 2016 is the year I go broke.

Speaking of Harry Potter, I never finished reading the series. Might get back to reading it again seeing how disappointing the Deathly Hallows movies were.

Re: How Toxic is Core Material?

Maybe the hazmat suits are just simply a precautionary measure?

I mean, if you're coming across a foreign substance that hasn't been evaluated for human safety yet, it might be wise to, you know, not touch it.

Re: Whats the power rating of an EVA?

Ok, so we know that all EVAs have a core, but lack an S2 engine; which would be able to power an EVA indefinitely. However, since they don't posses a soul (because they're man-made), they are essentially an empty shell. Therefore, they need a human soul (or simply just biomass) in order to 'breathe ...

Uhh... lots. Enough to impoverish 20,000 people a year, apparently.

I couldn't help noticing that there was grain. Is that what happens when a blu-ray player upconverts it? Well, before the advent of digital cinematography, the medium used to record motion pictures was film stock. Coated on the film strips are tiny silver granules; which are basically analogous...

Is Shinji evil? No. However, while he didn't cause Third Impact deliberately or even knowingly , after being shown the destruction caused by him, he wasn't having a bar of it; basically in denial of any wrongdoing. And really, he wasn't doing anyone any favours by going to retrieve those...

Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

You can't go wrong with this classic. Though I must say, I'm partial to older movies in general. They just don't make 'em like they used to. :sniffle:

If you have suggestions for microphones or video editing software, such would be very much appreciated. Well, it depends what you're after. If you're looking for quality mics, I'd recommend something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058MJWJK/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1...

Oh, wow! It's happening! I loved the animated film as a kid, so I'll definitely be seeing this once it's out. Apparently everything onscreen except Mowgli is CGI even the photo realistic things. Well that's to be expected—as long as the CGI isn't glaringly obvious, it's all g...

Hmm... undecided about this one.

I still feel that Pro Skater 2 was the best in the series: Pro Skater 3 and 4 were good, Underground 1 and 2 were okay, and, honestly, American Wasteland was just stupid.

I'll definitely check it out, though.

Who knows. Considering they were both living in the same apartment at the time, it's likely Shinji told her about it on the day.

I know Shinji is introverted and shy, but he's capable of at least conversing with others about his private life to some extent.
