Compared to the other series, there's less focus on the events and more on the characters. The thing spawned this:

Only sportsy things I do are walk to school and whatever happens in gym. We recently did a thing on volleyball. It was fun, but all the guys were pretty much leaving me out of their teams and that discouraged me pretty bad.

The original is a great place to start but it is quite old and it might not have aged well for you. Any of the alternate unverises are good for the most part so for them I'd say gundam 00 as it is newer and maybe wing and if you have a tolarence for stock footage then the seed. Also the ovas 08...

Aquarion was pretty pringles, in a weird way. I remember watching it with my best bro not too long ago, and how we laughed like idiots when the one monster's heart exploded, and it's gooey remains looked a little too freudian.

IT'S... SO GOOD!

This is what you said about discovering Eva - "I remember watching NGE on adult swim when I was around 5 or 6. " What is an adult swim? A TV watching session with many adults around? And did you discover those other shows by the same way? You did not say. Adult swim is a block of various ...

WOW, watching eva at the tender age of five. I hope it didn't mess you up too bad. By the way I first watched it when I was seven, so you got me beat by a whole year. Tender age of five? I discovered the Brak Show, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun. Adding Eva to that MADE my childhood. Though later whe...

Hi. Cool board you got here, been using it for references on how to draw Evas and stuff. I remember watching NGE on adult swim when I was around 5 or 6. Got back into it a few months ago. For me, it was a refreshing series in a weirdly depressing way. First mecha show I ever watched was season 2 of ...
