I used to play the megadrive version. The graphics sucked badly even when it first came out in 1990. The gameplay was pretty amazing though, deep rpg game.

Common teenage behaviour where?

Maybe you are right. If it is common teenage behaviour doesn't say much for out society.

Except those things do not actully require the same skill set. Having empathy and understanding =/= saying it's right. IT's not like there's a dichotomy between deeming someone completely right or completely irredeemable. You can see that someone did something wrong, but still understan...

. I know a lot about personality disorders from real life experience. There is too much enabling and sympathy for people who lash out and abuse. I know for a far a lot of cluster B types have a lot of self control. They are often very good at putting on a public face, they often save their emotional...

I frankly see attitudes towards characters that is enabling. There is no excuse to verbal abuse and bully people. If someone has personality disorder issues, they have to keep it under control. These people can keep it under control, they just often look for the right targets to emotional discharge ...

Morality has nothing to do with attraction it is completely amoral.

Also he seemed to be a rebellious intellectual type to me. People like that tend to have an intensity that can be very attractive.

Or maybe Yui just likes her bad boys? lolol :p

Gundam wing.

On Episode 9. Watched this like 12 years ago, so I decided to rewatch it again.

The whole thing between Relena and Heero makes me laugh.

Going to get round to finishing Code Gease. I like mech animes a lot.

A recent extensive discussion of this matter on the forum I moderate has come to the exactly opposite conclusion (specifically in a real-life case of a 13yo and a 25yo). So a person who attacks a 13 year old with violences beats them up and rapes them, is the same as a person who grooms and...

Opinions are subjective.

The taboo against generalizations is stupid anyway.

Let me rephrase that.

I only find Dubs good for comedy or light fluff anime.

Of course dubs have to exist for anime movies that break into the mainstream.

Dubs are only good for comedy or fluff light weight anime.

I don't want to have to read the subtitles of a cheesy crappy anime.

Or my perception of the show, because if they want me to buy a would-be rapist as a sympathetic character, I'm very, very dissapointed of a group of people whose work which I used to like very much. Term rapist is used too cheaply. A older person coming onto a 14 year old is very creepy but it ...

Gender role is something that (especially at the time) is more stringently defined in Japanese culture. Women are expected to be more passive there, in a traditional sense. Arguably, all cultures have 'female passivity' as something that is expected of women. Equal gender roles is s...

The opposite, I think. The idea is that both responses are rejections of assigned gender norms, responses made by people who don't fit in with society's expectations of them. So Asuka becomes aggressive because she's expected to be a passive female, and a male would become passive becau...

I would rather deal with someone who has avoidance behavioural issues, than someone who has cluster type be, narcissistic issues. I think parental abandonment can really mess a lot of people up. I think Shinji dealt with the hand he had been played very well. Lots of people would be doing far worse....

First, she's not rotten, just an average kid who's traumatized as fuck. Second, what does she have to do with it? The post you're replying to was talking about his interaction with Misato after Kaji died. Generally agreed, yeah. I think people expect too much of a passive teenager. Asuk...

He should have made the effort. It's true that there was nothing he could realistically do, but just showing her she's not alone and that someone else gives a damn might have helped a bit. It's better than nothing. And that's the core of Western discontent with Shinji -- he didn'...
