Had this dream last night, this is just a copy-paste from another forum I post on: It was one of those dreams where I was just viewing stuff as an observer. There was a black steam locomotive flying over a desert planet (might have been the Galaxy Express 999 from the anime of the same name)...

I've tried to make an RPG with RPG Maker several times in my life.

Each time I end up doing less and more at the same time, somehow.

I decided to spend some more of my birthday money yesterday because the power was gonna be out for until like 3pm. I picked up two Transformers (Combiner Wars Optimus Prime and Bombshell) and this Link plush. http://u.cubeupload.com/AikoHeiwa/S6301468.jpg Apparently the Link plush is hard to...

Got my reissue God Ginrai delivered today. http://u.cubeupload.com/AikoHeiwa/S6301388.jpg Also got a knock-off Transformer delivered today. (Before anyone asks why I bought a knock-off, the KO I bought was off Minerva and her original toy is considered rare and can cost between $1500 and $2000, ...

I rented Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker from the library, so I've been playing that.

I'm addicted to the game, and I thought I'd hate it. (I despised the Captain Toad levels in 3D World)

If there are two profiles on FB, doesn't that play into their decision? Also, that is a case of identity theft, so I believe that you might have legal recourse to compel FB to remove the account. BRB...researching. EDIT: Okay, first go here if you haven't. Second, have you emailed Facebook ...

Someone made a fake account on Facebook using my birth name and a stolen photo of me taken from my mom's FB and FB won't delete it because they can't prove they're impersonating me.

Give us a goddamn good live-action Metroid movie for Christ's sake.

Hell, do what the original game did and not reveal Samus is female until the very end. I know a lot of people who'd watch it would know, but for the ones that don't, would still be a good twist for them.

In regards to emulators and being limited by your PC, have you considered buying a Wii for cheap (can get 'em for like $50 or less now) and installing the Homebrew Channel on it? That's what I use my Wii for, I emulate NES, SNES, GB/C, GBA, Genesis, Game Gear, and Master System on it...

Also to add to the above post, if you use emulators (for 2D systems like SNES): for the love of God and all that is holy do not use a goddamn smoothing filter, that ruins the look of the games.

Been playing Hyrule Warriors. I'm on like chapter (or whatever I don't recall what they're called) 5 or so. It's really fun.

Wish I actually owned this game.

People should be more forgiving about the first 5-7 years of graphics on consoles. Most developers were reasonably unprepared and unskilled at the time, since 2D sprites and graphics were the way just before. You just couldn't expect everybody to gain overnight the experience and skills that Se...

The term we more often use is "retro". Is the PS2 retro? How do you define retro? There are a variety of criteria people use. Some people arbitrarily say it's cartridges, some say that it has to be a certain age. Personally, the way I look at it is that something goes from new, then b...

PS2 is definitely a good choice for your first "vintage" console (am I the only one that finds it odd that the PS2 is considered vintage? It was only discontinued in January 2013 and the last games for it came out in September 2013...)

If you don't have to pay much for it and will be playing it with other people, then Nintendo Land could be worth it, assuming you don't already have it. I think the MSRP for NintendoLand is now $20 or $30, so it's pretty cheap. Sucks bonkers that it's not on the eShop in the US anym...

Let's hope for a surprise localization of it and DQVII 3DS announced by Nintendo at E3 then, eh?
