Using Torrents is really not a big deal, also there's some illegal streaming sites out there... I don't really understand you problem?

Re: Shin Eva's Indefinite Delay Support Group

It's not as if the release to Japanese theaters would have meant anything to me, as I wouldn't have been able to travel to Japan in the first place, so this does not particularly faze me. I will go out this weekend as Pandemic restrictions have been lifted in Austria, since we have successfully cons...

Re: Did Eva redefine you?

^ That's powerful, glad you're still here, I enjoy reading your posts, fwiw. I also had some dark, dark times, I know it might sound hokey, and a little bit embarrassing; but for a time, I felt like Evangelion Q would be the last thing I'll ever experience in my life. I sunk deeper and deeper into d...

Re: "EVANGELION:3.0+1.0 AVANT 1 (from beginning to 10:40) Version 0706" discussion and prediction thread

These two places are not the same. In Jo, Shinji is in one of the towns to the east of Hakone. (Not many options, since Hakone is so close to the ocean.) The locale depicted in the poster is in Ube, Yamaguchi, which is nowhere near Hakone. (Railway buffs identified the spot within hours of the post...

Well at this point we can only wait and see, but: First of all, thank you for sharing the the Tweets, I wasn't aware of the fact the the guy who translated "Komm, süßer Tod" sings it, and that LOREN is involved! So cool! No mentioning of Arianne Schreiber, or Utada... yet...? And personall...

fwiw they've already announced all he official Anime mascots for the Olympics.
Weirdly enough they didn't use Pokemon (which is like one of the most well known franchises out of Japan) and went for Yokai Watch instead.

Re: NGE Blu-ray (UK)

I would figure if Khara wanted to partially make up for an unexpected delay/loss in money they've got the full rights to NGE and in light of the current situation might be willing to be less stringent with their ( clearly ) very high price and demands. I think there's more factors than this. Anime ...

Re: NGE Blu-ray (UK)

I'm very interested in this release. Just needs to be a reasonable price and I'll be all over it. Anime Limited is known for running high quality limited editions, but they usually provide cheaper version too. Also guys, Anime Matsuri, they streaming convention is running until today evening and yo...

Re: 3.0+1.0's Troll Potential

I feel like the biggest troll already happened, by having the movie delayed indefinitely for the time being.
(of course that's due to a pandemic outside of anyone's control, but still)

Re: Release Date: June 27, 2020 (Delayed)

Fate's box office is much more dependent on the really hardcore Otaku, which is a big niche, but very insular... Evangelion meanwhile is ingrained enough into the mainstream consciousness it kinda transcendent that crowd a little bit -> there were a lot of normies mingled in-between the Otaku even w...

Re: FML general thread [8]

^ It's not your duty to enact some kind of vigilante justice in this matter. It's for the courts to decide if he did something wrong. This is not some kind of war in which you even can be on the right or wrong side, as you have no affiliation to his potentially questionable actions, I presume. The o...

Re: Currently Playing 5: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder!

idk, a remake 20 years down the line is inherently different anyways. Like it's a completely different game gameplay wise anyways, so why is there need for the story to follow the original step by step? Maybe the cut content just wouldn't make sense in that version of the game... How to explain this...
