I mean, it's a 14 year old character being put into a sexual context. I know you're both adults, but it's this weird layer of Lolita fantasy and the idea that your wife is willingly going along with it is a bit confounding.

And by fanservice I do not mean nudity, I mean random, pointlessly suggestive dialogue like the bath scene in Magma Driver.

I'd heard about Evangelion through anime resources; Magazines, Websites, Yadda Yadda. So, while at a video store, I spotted End of Evangelion. Something about the cover art drew me in. It was like some sort of impressionist painting. I'd never really seen DVD art do anything like that before...
