I'm on Persona 4 now. It's lighter than 3, but I'm really enjoying it a lot so far. These games really suck up a lot of time.

I haven't had photoshop in a while so I haven't really been able to do much. But I downloaded GIMP last night and got this:

As for the FF marathon, i am also playing IX on the PSP, damn I hate Steiner's face. Also I lol'd when Steiner went trance of Black Waltz No. 3, only for Vivi to finish him off with a vanilla fire spell before he could do anything. Oh man, trances are so useless. I remember when I was new t...

I just started playing Persona 3 FES and good lord is it ever amazing. My first foray into the series was Persona 1 for the PSP and while I kind of liked it, the battle frequency/dungeon lengths just killed it. But 3 is amazing. I'm having a very hard time putting it down. I can't remember t...

C'mon man, you're better than that.

On-topic, I'm Isaac Asimov. But judging from the other posts here, I'm guessing Bradbury's not on the list?

I would steer clear of "classes" like that. That they would have a professional redraw your work seems really weird. Not to mention, with the internet there's such a wealth of resources and tutorials available to you. IMO, the best thing you could do is experiment constantly. Play arou...

I don't think that's true all of the time. For example, if I were head of a buisness I probably wouldn't give the men working for me maternity leave. That's just not going to happen. They don't get pregnant, so they don't need a couple months to prepare or recover from child...

I can't even comprehend why so many people like Quaritch. He was the generic bad-ass villain to Sully's generic tree-humping hero, who played the role so straight, with such plentiful genericism that he just blended perfectly into the shimmering CGI tapestry of genericism that was Avatar . ...

I guess everyone is racist and unconsciously discriminates against older and younger people or handicapped folks as well. FFF4E is correct; these aren’t sexist remarks in the first place—it’s just matter of difference in sex. Difference does not imply discrimination. There are major ideological dif...

That would be more understandable every book ever written was an autobiography. Blanket statements like, "I can't write female characters," helps no one. It encourages the status quo of male heroes and token females.

I don't think this is sexist, I just think this is an inevitable aspect of what happens when primarily men produce art. I think it's sexist for that exact reason. When a profession is a nigh-impossible-to-crack boy's club, you're going to have issues. If I wrote a novel and had a ma...

It's sexist because women make up half the population yet most protagonists in films/television/anime are male, and when there are female protagonists half the time they are still pandering to a male audience, and when they're not, they're shallow stereotypes written by men who are prete...

Extended? I'd watch it if it was cut down to 90 mins. to 2 hours and had Colonel Miles Quaritch as the main character. When Colonel Miles was on screen my thought wasn't "Why don't you use your powers for good?", it was "Why isn't this movie about you?!" If that&...

For more complicated outfits like my Arael and Jen's Festival Asuka, she sews them out of frabric. For the Pink St we went out to Goodwill and found matching clothing, adjust it by cutting/trimwork/adding details and its really cheap and looks good when its done as long as you take the time to ...

excellent points I don't disagree, although I'm not sure NGE is an actively feminist work. Not being sexist doesn't make something feminist by default; however, I do think that certain viewpoints are deconstructed the way you talked about in your last paragraph. It makes you think, at a...

SoL, the last picture is adorable! They're like Eva jammies! I especially like the pants on those outfits. Do you guys make your costumes yourself? The Misato cosplay is pretty cool too, though it looks like you need some higher shapewear for underneath. Overall though, your costumes are very cu...

I think it's affected me in a roundabout sort of way. This mostly applies irl, but if someone rejects NGE for some incredibly inane reason (e.g. "Shinji's emo and emos are dumb hurr") and in the same breath recommends I watch Fullmetal Alchemist * or something because it...
