I have to add Honey and Clover to my list because I loved it that much. Great combination of humor and introspection and heartwarming moments. And liking all the characters helps too.

Honey and Clover....it's a little over the top but funny. I've only watched 2 episodes so far so will reserve judgement.

Finished the Great and late Satoshi Kon's Paranoia Agent . Loved it as I expected, unfortunately I couldn't find it in Japanese. I was looking into buying the complete collection but RAGED upon discovering the BBFC cut 1 min 20 secs out of the 8th episode [Even after rating it an 18 cert] I...

Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubs) A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s. Never read any of his stories, so I figure this will be an excellent opportunity to check them out when I get the chance. He...

I couldn't believe it either. But the show is awesome all the way through. And what happens in Episode 8 and who it happens too have a continual presence in the show. So all is not lost.

I am watching the English dub for Beck and think the voice actors are great. The show really captures the emotions of being a young teen and the protagonist is very sympathetic.

Thanks for the links. :) Mononoke looks interesting. I like horror. And the style is beautiful.

I've started two different animes, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad which I really like after 4 episodes and The Count of Monte Cristo: Gankutsuou. The Count of Monte Cristo is interesting for it's animation alone....it's got this weird, funky pattern/design thing going on that's unlike an...

Oh, thanks so much for replying. :)

I'm dying to see more, so it looks like the sub is in the near future for me.

Tenma's English voice actor irritates me a bit. I'm hoping the Japanese one is better.

Those of you who have watched all of Monster, did you watch the sub or the dub? I'm getting very tired of waiting for the next set of dubbed episodes to come out on dvd and so I'm thinking of just buying the subbed version. Is it better than the dubbed version? I've never actually watche...

I think Matt Smith is doing an admirable job as the next Doctor. And David Tennant left some mighty big shoes to fill.
I'm also loving Amy Pond as the new companion.

So far, so good!
