There's your problem. MPEG is getting rather long-in-the-tooth, try encoding to h.264 (or at least xvid) to cut down on the filesize before uploading. A 3 minute SD clip should end up about 40mb at most for youtube-quality.

If that were the case wouldn't we be able to see blood to the side of Unit-06's hole? It is to the side, far enough to the side to be out of shot. Lilith is pretty huge, so must be far away , so even with the slight angle to the blood splatter it would be quite far to the right at that dist...

Yep. [url]http://projectenthalpy.com/yep.jpg Note how Kaworu is much closer to the camera, on top of a rise, and the blood smear is at an angle (front-left to rear-right). It's likely it simple continues down the side of the ridge facing away from us, and off far enough to the right by ...

But they're Particle-WAVES, and this is said as if it is somehow special and different from normal, everyday matter. Clearly, we need more research on the subject. Particle waves = ordinary matter . Onless they were talking about waves of particles, which means the Angels have some sort of weir...

Re: [Spoiler] Eva 02 Blood Color Change

the particles vibrate at a frequency that corresponds to the wavelength frequency of blue, that doesn't mean they glow blue, all particles vibrate go read a physics book. Particle vibrations = heat = black body radiation. Black body radiation is dependant on temperature, and is a spread-spectru...

Either every bird is looking in a different direction from the one in which he's flying or their beaks are so tiny as to not register in silhouette at all. Gulls look downwards while feeding, e.g: http://h.imagehost.org/0439/shilouette.jpg What I'm more interested in is why seabirds still e...

Then the Angels would be glowing blue. The 'Pattern:Blue' technobabble is just to tell viewers "this is unambigously an angel".

THEY DON'T HAVE BEAKS!
A lot of birds have very small beaks. That, or they're simply looking downwards so they don't appear in the silhouette.

To me, it doesn't sound like a scream. It sounds like the grinding groan an old HDD makes when forcibly braked (e.g. head crash). There's a Big Gratuitous Spinny Bit built into the dummy system, with an obvious spin-up noise during the Bardiel battle.

Some subs makes praise to him, other makes seems they dont trust him just yet.
The latter, at least going by the official theatrical subs.

Acheron makes more sense. It's on-screen text, and 'Acheron' is one of the rivers of hell, whereas 'Akron' was an ill-fasted airship. The odd pronunciation is probably due to English cast reading from an romanised transcript of an engrish katakana script, while being directed by ...

I think I might have figured out Mari's "It can't be helped, I'll give you one" (an arm) line: immediately preceding it, she mentions she can't force synchronisation with the cybernetic arms, and after saying it the tubes attached to her plug suit's arm detach. ...

I'm currently poking around the BD structure. Once 'finalised' subs are ready*, I'll see if I can work them into the existing BD image (i.e. replace existing the JP sub track with the ENG track) leaving the menus intact. If that's not feasible, then I'll make an AVCHD...

The current BD is a BD50, and the movie m2ts alone is over 33gb. I guess if they dumped all the extras then the video bitrate wouldn't have to take too much of a dive.

Did anyone think about disabling DRC (Dynamic Range Compression) for the Dolby tracks?! I did my testing with DRC disabled, the fL/fR channels still reduce in volume when there are vocals on the centre channel. It's definitely not an automated response: the decrease occurs half a second...
