Yeah. That would be a good idea. The usage of other actors would alter the ratings in a very disruptive manner. The audience would be like, [If Nicholas Cage played in here], "Oh man... Cage is in here... This movie sucks!" Or some people would be like, "Oh snap! Cage is in here! I l...

The souls retain the memories, and are who the person is. The body is just a container for the soul, and basically sustains itself, makes physical functions possible. Space Penis has it right, everyone else's explainations are fucked up. Otherwise EoE would be completely screwed up, considering...

Errm, there are many different good series to choose from. But I guess I'm going to go with comedy for this pick. I suggest Those Who Hunt Elves I hope I got the size right. Ok, first off the animation is not very well done. Not much detail, pretty old animation. The anime itself is pretty stupi...

For all we know, in Japanese culture, the voices used for the characters are bad according to how they perceive their own language. Our dubs could be the equivalent of the Japanese voices for the characters. IMHO, saying "I like subs, dubs suck balls" is more of a 'I'm cool becaus...

No, but i tend to say random things in my sleep, these sometimes incorporate body movements. Some that I can remember my friends telling me about are: That's literally retarted. Grant you funked up 5 of them. Grant, Grant, Grant. There have been many others, but those are all I can remember atm.

I don't mind the dubs on Eva at all, although I don't know if they changed them for AS or not, I haven't watched those. I am one of those people who only watches anime dubbed because I like hearing English voices and reading the subs tend to distract from the scene. I know I will get the...

Those Who Hunt Elves. Especially the first few episodes, the random bystander voices were so awful I was banging my head on the wall.

There have been some very good points and a few irrelevant ones on this thread as of yet. I think this little scene is swimming with meaning and different interpretations (sp?). One things that I think people should remember is that this scene is more than likely relating to the Shinji's...

It's hard to say what the Eva Crew, if you will, believe. They see some pretty strange stuff that doesn't seem to phase them very much. They are just "normal" people making breakthroughs in science. Since no one mentions it, or really shows their belief, it is hard to find a "...

The most distressing thing has happened. It seems that over time, and without my noticing, I've lost the ability to recall my dreams. What I can only imagine to be the last few months have been effectively devoid of any life but the mundane. How tragic for me. Cry, everybody. I just dont dream,...

right, it's what is actually in the book he is reading in the movie. Just look it up online, it's only about 3 pages, no big deal to read. Just look up philosophy of time travel and find it written out, read it all and you will understand.

The Director's Cut is the best because in the special features, it has the philosophy of time travel, which is a must-read for complete comprehension of the movie. If you are going to watch Donnie Darko, you must read philosophy of time travel. It all comes together after you read it, trust me.
