DVD 2 (already available) DVD 3 (release date July 11, 2006) Not only is it a little odd my info was out of date, but DVD 2 is listed as being published by Media Blasters and DVD 3 is listed as Bandai. Could be a mistake on AN's part, I'll have to check it out some more at h...

Yukikaze will never be finished, will it? It's a Gonzo production, with support from Production IG, and I've noticed lately that the number and scale of productions that they are working on has increased, which could mean ecominical scale shifts within the project, hence being on hold/hiatu...

So, basically Gunbuster and Diebuster have not been licensed? Or just unannounced? Why not release/remaster Gunbuster and make money off that, and worry about Diebuster later? Gunbuster sure doesn't need Diebuster, does it? Should Bandai have kept their licensing of Yukikaze secret until the fi...

Manga only just recently confirmed that they lost the license to Gunbuster. Click Here to find out what licenses Manga lost That was correct, until a few new licenses were announced at Anime Central around 6 May. Where is the logic in this supposed company's thinking? My guess is so they don...

That really is a superb summary of the state of Manga Entertainment. I do tend to believe that their portfolio of properties, and the profits they made during the VHS era might have provided them with the basis for making a better attack on the DVD market, but they have made one mistake too many, a...

Wouldn't you be embarassed if you were Manga? A laughingstock of the anime industry in america? It'd be even more embarassing if they would not even acknowldege it. I hope they shut down and never license or release anything else forever. Yeah, I'd be kind of embarrassed, too but compan...

Well dang. Suddenly I really treasure this pathetic DVD. It's hard-subbed, with terrible translations, and a really poor transfer, but it's better than all the nothing that's available now. It must be out in R2, though? You could buy that, and then dowload a subtitle file. I bet script ...

It has been available in Europe, but that's not a great release, I assure you. The last I heard, Manga Entertainment had the license, and were planning a DVD release "real soon now". http://evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif Definately not going to happen now; Manga ...

Actually, I think he was arguing that in Tomino's works, save for a small handful, the dead remain dead.

LoL, and Escaflowne was in production since 1991, kinda hard for it to be claimed as an Eva ripoff (particularly when its absolutely nothing like Eva outside of being in the mecha genre). Don't forget Pilot Candidate and Gundam SEED. Yep, I've even heard them proclaim a Gundam show ...
