The first half of Eva was mediocre the second half was a masterpiece. Who knows how RahXephon will turn out. I personally think it gets better (even considering how much i love the beginning episodes), the ending is my favorite ending in an anime. But that's just me. I'm a RX fan. N...

You don't think anything in the world is in the scale of Eva. Even if said diverse elements are just clichés.

would you stop its beta/prototype images and not final trust me the real names will be left in As someone that works with it, i have to say you´re wrong. Designers HAVE to use the names on the script. Why, do you ask? Because the script is what keeps the production together. If you randomly name a ...

The live action drama of GTO is called "GTO", saiyajin. It´s a tv series plus one movie, IIRC. So this thread mysteriously vanished until the admins decided to merge the Live Action Concept Art thread into it? Me confused. It was closed because a certain regular here started calling names ...

-In response to thx and others- Well, finally somebody realizes that WETA is a freakin' special effects company Working directly with ADV, like every SFX company does. So much so that ADV exposed their work to the Eva fans in a mass-production DVD. they're not doing the casting, the script,...

Why change Ramiel? It's so damn cool as just a floating daimond-thing. Do we know it takes place in Tokyo 3? Or even in Japan? 'Kate Rose' isn't the most Japanese sounding name out there. Tokyo 3 is now named "New City", it seems. :bday: Originally posted on: 16-Jan-2004, ...

Some people are so delusional they are saying Kate Rose is the name of the designer. Yeah, right. I guess "Kate Rose Plug Suit Back View" is a very common name. As common as "Ray Plug Suit Back View". http://www.madcaps.pwp.blueyonder.c...t-katerose2.jpg http://www.madcaps.pwp.bl...

Kate Rose? KATE ROSE! I really hope that Anno steps in soon and pulls the plug on this bullshit! This is really an insult to the world that Anno worked so hard to create. And I'm sure what ever they are planning for the story will be too. You forgot one thing: Anno. Doesn´t. Give. A. Sh*t. He t...

this is their interpretation of a work that was created by someone else. the movie is their's, not the source material. that's not what i'm saying. the LotR movies are their's because they upt the time and energy into making them. the book is not their's, but their interpretatio...

You don´t have the guts to write your own script, but you want to write Eva? Excuse me while i laugh out loud. Uh, Doctor Worm & thx, instead of joining the bastardization squad, why not writing your own original scifi-stories? Playing with somebody else's story just prevents you from truly ...

Dogma flopped in theaters. And this, even after getting (free) media exposure thanks to the religious fanatics making protests in front of the theater. But it was a cheap movie, so it made money in video and DVD sales. Notice that, i've seen Dogma, and it's nothing to be crazy about....

Scary, scary sh*t. And there's probably a juicy cameo-role waiting for mrs. Grant. Yeah, i remember saying the same thing when i heard ADV was leading this. They may even put some of ADV's awful "actors" (cough) in minor roles. Originally posted on: 28-Sep-2003, 05:11 GMT

Although to be honest, I think a shoelace-budget Hong Kong sweatshop version of Initial D is still a less disgusting thing than a Hollywood-Evangelion. But it's still like choosing between a mutated anthrax and an ultrasonic diarrhea. HK is way past the small budget movies. They even have good ...

Oh, for God's sake. Don't people read threads AT ALL?

This has been mentioned a couple months ago or so already. Someone reposts an old rumor/news and everybody is like "whoah".
