To me, it sounds like Bochan_bird did the translations and Brendan simply hosted them on his website. This is correct. He'd translate and I'd offer opinions when he had questions on certain lines and things of that nature. We're two different people. He's been working in Japan for 1...

I'll definitely be there on Friday (and Saturday... just to show support) but I'll be at work before hand on Fri so depending on when I get out I'll either be there at the 7:45 or 9:50 screening.

standard projectors (1.11, I'm talking about)? Less interested. Blame Funimation and their Special Olympics approach to motion picture acquisition. Whoa. Blu-Ray is not > 35mm. Not even close. I'm starting to get nervous about the Chicago screening. Has anyone talked to Piper's ...

I just received a response from the programming director at the music box and he is not committing to this screening. From: Brian Andreotti [brian@musicboxtheatre.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 12:33 PM To: Brendan Jamieson Subject: Re: Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone - screening 8/21?...

Re: Drop by the EVA panel at Anime Central!

Prizes will be given away as well, including special items done for the Eva manga in Japan--posters, pencilboards, calendars, etc. Prizes? And here I've been calling them "bribes" for the past 4 years! Damn. "Prizes" sound sooo much better. In addition to the bri.. prizes.. ...

Ahahahaha!!

I remember this guy on the Eva ML. I remember a lengthy argument on the ML over Asuka being pregnant at the end of the film.

Wow... does ADV have any standards? Out of sick curiousity I really want to hear what this cat had to say.
