It would be epic if this was a whodunit with the killer's M.O being bizzare sexual postions. "She was killed by Space Docking" That would make an awesome English comedy. Can you imagine two detectives with English accents explaining what a “Chicago hotplate” is to each other? “Well ol...

The title is hilarious. It brings back memories of all the crude jokes we exchanged back in high school. If I ever write a screenplay for a teen murder drama I’ll be sure to call it “Chicago Hotplate” or “Rusty Trombone”. For the record, I hate movies like this. That same exact premise has been done...

I heard a lot of fans were pissed because the game deviates from the visual style of it’s predecessors. They say it looks like World of Warcraft now. I know I’d be pissed.

Ordinarily, I don’t express overt emotions on internet forums. I’ll have to make an exception at this point. WHOOOOOO-HOOOO!!! All right, that’s all you get for now. Dead Space is a sci-fi survival horror game coming out in October produced by EA. I’ve been keeping my eye on it and have high hopes s...

What an injustice that LotR has been reduced to a film now compared to Star Wars. LotR is a work of literature! It was written before the standards of entertainment became so pitifully low. It stands apart from all the crappy fantasy that was crudely and shamelessly made in imitation of it. People c...

So they devote all their time to mocking something they hate? That seems like a waste of time and (maybe) talent. Maybe they’ve got nothing else. Although the instant diarrhea cream commercial was hilarious.

I just looked up some clips of Brave Little Toaster on Youtube. In retrospect the clown nightmare is pretty awesome. The voice actor for the air conditioner sounds familiar. Anyone have any ideas? He reminds me of a drug-addicted, homeless Vietnam veteran. The comments on Youtube suggest that many c...

Re: Highest Body Count in a Children's Film?

I'm guessing that the highest on-screen body count for this type of film is The Brave Little Toaster . It never got an official rating, but it's often shown on television with a TV-G label. It's also probably one of the darkest non-adult cartoons I've ever seen; certain parts really...

Can you imagine LAE directed by George Lucas? I’m laughing just thinking about it. I can just picture one of the angels as a giant CG ewok.

So when did LAEM die anyway? It’s probably for the best.

collector’s discs

I seem to recall a torrent awhile back that contained all the content of those discs. They contained oodles of promotional art. I only got the first three and after that wasn’t able to find the rest. Would anyone be willing to open up that torrent again? I would greatly appreciate it.

Personally, I hate the whole idea of remakes. Remakes demonstrate how writers have run out of ideas and are now simply milking their assets. Of course the only thing worse than remakes is crossovers. Fox killed the ALIEN franchise with AvP. edit: Actually, a more accurate thing to say is that the pr...

I’ve got a quick question that’s slightly off topic. It doesn’t seem worth a completely new thread so I hope it’s not a problem. I’ve got several vintage Nintendo consoles including an NES and a SNES. They all work great but I can’t get them working on my LCD TV. I tried with my SNES and the screen ...
