(there is also the wonderful example of Kite where....GITS could end up in which would be horrifying)

removing the gay from this cover would be like removing any reference to iron man from the cover of the first movie it makes no fucking sense Might be so they can stealth market it to crazy people down south. They will all watch it and then magically everything becomes more tolerable for the so-cal...

If they decide to make it, they better keep the context (which is part of the identity of Ghost in the Shell). If they decided to turn it into a 'Security Service's Super Secret Special Scion Story' which would be.... not the most atypical thing about, they don't need to go a...

It was made specifically at the time when Japan's public security police's shady operation people were being made.... relatively public (i.e. people know it exists, but nothing more than that) There is also the whole conundrum of career bureaucrats vs. raised from the bottom technocr...

While I may disapprove of some of the things described, I would say that none of them are physically impossible. (And I have not seen TYT in a while which was bit of a nostalgia for me)

It really depends on time frame really.

I think one of the more 'Japanese' aspect of Ghost in the Shell which I think should have remained is in fact in the setting itself. Public Security Police (Koan) is very much a Japanese organisation that has its sleazy ways, connections up and down, and the part of the depiction of ...
