Haruhi will probably be the new Evangelion of this decade. I really, really liked Haruhi, but obviously, not as much so... Yeah in the movie the first gun that Eva-01 uses against Shamshel is a gattling gun, they even show the bullet casings falling on cars and crushing them!

the second gun is the normal rifle that we are used to
