Re: Evangelion 2.22 Blu Ray with slip cover

I might be wrong, but I remember when it was first released that people were annoyed at the slipcover, saying that it was ripping when stickers were being pulled off it.

No that isn't it. I own the Refrain of Eva CD, and that album has Soul's Refrain on it, so I know how the song goes.

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

I don't know if this is the right thread to put this in, but on the Eva Extra app, they're doing a special project where they have put select tracks from the OST albums. They even put up the "After the End" comedy bit on there too. The only question I have is what is the name of the song t...

Megumi Ogata Hospitalized

Well, she's out of the hospital now, but she had to go in for a sudden attack of anaphylaxis. Here's the ANN article about it. Ogata has also been posting on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Megumi_Ogata/status/1174551804471730178?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1174551804471730178&...

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

I think this contest is Japan only from what I've read of it. Even if it wasn't; you have to keep in mind that the winner, in all liklihood, will have to sign a NDA promising not to talk about the film's plot until sometime after the general premiere. I wonder how many people would be able to keep t...

Here is Chapter 24 for your enjoyment. It took me a while to get the battle scenes the way I like it, and I'm not sure if I got it right. I hope this chapter is acceptable to all of you.

If those lines were taken out of the final film, should it even be used as evidence in the first place?

Re: The idea of a timeloop

The Rebuilds have not given me reason to be optimistic. I think this statment is the crux of the argument. It seems to me that those who promote the timeloop and similar theories usually have a problem with the films. Either these people either don't like the Rebuilds as they don't compare to NGE i...

^I wouldn't know, but there have been characters, such as SEELE in the manga, who did see him in those terms.

As for when Chapter 23 is coming out, How about now? It took a while to get the battle right, among other things, so I hope all of you enjoy it.

I've had this belief that 3.0+1.0 will be longer than Final Yamato for a while, as Anno was a huge fan of the franchise. Nice to see that there is some logic behind that belief.

Well, now is as good a time as any to ask this. I read the ANN article about this and it doesn't seem that bad as it only covers the original 1982 series. During the panel's question-and-answer session, Tommy Yune, Harmony Gold's President of Animation, emphasized that the renewed agreements cover t...

With all the callbacks, to previous Anno works in the film series, is it wrong of me to want a callback of this scene from Gunbuster with Asuka and Mari?
