Re: You Can Start Again

And here is Chapter 21. I have to admit that I feel a little uncomfortable with this one, particularly the ending. I keep having the idea in my head that it's not up to snuff compared to previous chapters. It makes me wonder if there are any other fanfic authors who feel the same way.

There is also another scene where Kitinkami (the pink haired girl) was touching up her nails. If someone can still get nail polish, the world is not that bad of a shape.

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

The best thing Cameron could do is a theatrical re-release of T2 with the alternate Senator ending and prevent any future movies from being made. "Alternate Senator ending?" I know of the alternate ending that takes place in a park with Sarah narratting what happened afterwards. Was there...

I'm reminded of a time many years ago, when I saw a video of the tanging sequence of EoE and Tumbling Down was replaced by Yankety Sax.

Re: The Tree of Life Significance

There are indeed still people who claim Evangelion is Christian propaganda. Those people are ridiculously wrong, but still. I agree, though I have noticed that there are some things in the show that seem to reflect parts of Christianity, even if it is unintentional. As one example, I've discovered ...

Re: Darling in the Franxx (Studio Trigger)

According to the author of the manga version of the story, there are going to be "major divergences" from the anime's story. So this raises an important question: can there be a version of the story that is actucally good?

Same here. I always thought based on the descriptions I've read that there was something delightfully batshit insane about it.

Oh absolutely. You really get to see the passion coming from that man, and the dissapointment he felt when everything fell through. My comment was if I was a hypthetical producer and Jodorowsky came to me, I would have to refuse, even though I like what I see.

Jodorowsky's Dune. I'll admit that if I was a producer, I wouldn't give him the money either.

Re: Favorite crazy Evangelion theories

Is this thread for theories that we've heard about the show from time to time or is for theories that we come up ourselves, even if we don't even take them seriously? I'm asking because I have an example of the latter.

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

@robersora: I have to agree with 0080 for the best entry into the Universal Shows. I personally believe it handles themes that Tomino puts into his Gundam shows better than what he did. If you're looking for one of the AU shows, I recommend Gundam X . The story is practically Gundam meets Mad Max, b...

Re: You Can Start Again

If Misato did indeed confirm it was Shinji and not an Ikari-Type on the Wunder's bridge, why did they put the DSS system on him to begin with? Ritsuko told him in 3.33 that it was as an insurance policy as well as a punishment. Keep in mind as well that when on the Wunder's bridge, Misato asks Ritz...

Re: [NEWS] Neon Genesis Evangelion coming to Netflix Spring 2019

But isn't it also possible that Netflix may have the right to be the exclusive outlet for the show in the West for so many months or years before there is a BD release? That exclusivity may be what makes the property valuable to them.
