I’m glad to see that there are so many Macross fans around here. Macross DYRL is probably one of may favourites anime films.

Honestly, I’m quite bothered by it. The sexualisation of characters is a major fault in the series. Some scenes are very uncomfortable to watch due to it.

No. I think Eva, especially NGE and it’s ending, are quite hopeful.

The only game that I’ve played at all in the past year is the new Monster Hunter.

Has it really been 10 years already?! I swear I was hyped af for its release like a week ago.

I can definitely see some spinoffs being made, but I doubt that multiple series with different casts can be made. I think the main characters are too embedded within Eva’s identity for a completely new series to be made.

Eva, especially the character arcs, remind me of a cave. As you travel through a cave the light from the entrance disintegrates, it becomes easier and easier to feel claustrophobic, you start bumping into things you never expected to block your path. Apart from Eva I really like Madoka Magica, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Serial Experiments Lain, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Rose of Versailles.

Discovery by Daft Punk is probably my favourite album of all time. I must have listened to each song hundreds of times, even so, I still find myself listening to the album.
