I graduated from High School and came back to the forum following a lengthy absence.

I was reading in Newtype about the Evangelion platinum edition and I thought that it sounded like a plot my ADV to bilk loyal EVA fans of their hard-earned money. Besides having the Director's Cut episodes, what else is special about Platinum?

How long do you think it will take, and will you take photos of it? Also, whose EVA will it be from?

How many episodes are in the series?

Are there any other great EVA resouce sites besides EvaMonkey and EvaOtaku? Also, are there any other reference books besides the heavily contested and debated RCB?

From what I have heard Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai, which is a GAINAX production, is using the same cast as in Mahoromatic. This is what got me initially intrigued, but has anyone seen it? If so, post your thoughts.

I think the concept behind "New City" stems from the creators attempt to globalize the cast, taking them out of Japan, giving them names easier to pronounce. And what gives with the age change? At 14, the pilots are much more vulnerable and insecure, at 16 they would have had more of a bac...

I have read all 8 volumes of the manga released stateside, and from what I can tell it has 3 major advantages over the anime.
1-Less expensive
2-No TV required
3-Much more Kwarou!

Asuka's unit is great for the fact that her mother's soul, inside, saved her a caused her to kick so much ass in EoE. Also, because Asuka is the best.

I know the slated release date is 2006, but are there other fans who have feeling that the Live Action film will be seen as no more than a "giant-mecha film"? Sure, there will be a big turnout from the EVA fans, but do you think it will ucrease the fanbase by exposing them to something gre...

Sounds like a cool idea, but two questions. How will manufacture and acquire the LCL to survive in the Entry Plug? Will there be bakalite ready to protect you in case of an emergency?

OK, this has been a hot topic on the ML for awhile, but I want a new perspective. Our friend Sadamoto Yoshiyuki has not published a new Evangelion manga stage in months. This bothers me for the fact that, I want it and I want it now. Di you see a future for the Evangelion franchise in the manga world?
