Hi all, so with the US Blu-Ray/4K sets, is the main difference the art cards and booklet?

I'm a little shocked no one has brought up Fly me to the Moon as the main reason for anyone to go back to the ADV/classic dub/subs. I think VSI is servicable, and I prefer their version of the EoE dub, but I stick to the "classic" when it comes to the series just for the Fly me to the Moon...

Has the outer cover for anyone's Ultimate edition started to have the adhesive fail and separate? I'm debating whether to re-apply a more permenant adhesive and stack some books under/on top of the box, but at the same time I'm hesitant about doing anything that may rip the cover or somehow harm the...

The set looks awesome, not much of a complaint aside from feeling that some of it is overall unnecessary. I have not had a chance to check the discs, I'll probably dive into all the bonus content this upcoming weekend. Honestly, I feel like in hindsight I could have gotten by with just the Collector...

I just got my update about 10 minutes ago, FedEx states it will be here January 28, so fingers crossed! FedEx isn't allowing this to be signed for online ahead of time, so I have to keep an eye/ear out for the delivery truck.

January 25 came and went, did anyone get a shipping notification?

Did you go ahead and order the replacement disc before receiving your Ultimate Edition? If so I need to order one, I was waiting to see if they were going to include the replacement disc in the sets that still haven’t shipped in the US.

I’m sure saving an email as PDF or a screenshot of the payment receipt email would suffice, but perhaps this will be something that we get to skip having ordered the limited/delayed versions.

Is this something the limited edition sets need to go ahead and apply for, or do we think they’ll use the corrected versions for those box sets?

I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t have the disc images finalized and ready for mass production considering we’re this close to release. I feel like a change of this size would delay the release at this point.

I briefly considered trying to skip out on my Ultimate pre-order and go for the Collectors set, but I think I'll hang onto the Ultimate and appreciate finally owning everything in a nice set with the full ~150 page booklet. I don't own much print material for Eva, only Side B of that official episod...

FMTTM not being included I get, if the cost is that egregious, but not including the DC episodes is just bizarre. I feel like their inclusion has been pretty standard...correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Netflix even have those up? The DC episodes *are* included. It's the Original Aired versions ...

The international re-release of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION does not contain "FLY ME TO THE MOON" in any of its home video editions. To me, this makes it sound like the US version will have it, but any non US version won't. Notice how the UK only has 1,500 copies. I figured every release outs...

But doesn't blu-rays for the UK market work on a different system than ones for the US? Isn't the British one called PALS and the US one NTSC or something similar? He could not be working on the US version at all. I'm sorry if I got it wrong. I am trying to remember off the top of my head. I’m not ...

Does anyone have a spare copy of the North American Blu Ray of Rebuild of Evangelion 1.11? I've had this on my list to pick up at some point but never got around to it, and now I'm seeing that this single disc can cost $50-150.
