The main point of idiocy is for the smart to have their lulz. Without human idiocy, trolling would not exist, and that's uncool, since a large part of my entertainment consists of mocking the absurdity and dumbassery of the world, especially the Internet.-MaggotMaster

Daveigh Chase - RIP!
Damn, probably the biggest horror icon of the 2000s alongside Jigsaw.

The former child actor who voiced the character of heroic Lilo in 2002’s acclaimed Lilo & Stitch and that same year was named Best Villain by MTV Movies Awards for her effectively creepy portrayal of the evil Samara Morgan in The Ring, died Tuesday of complications from meningitis. She was 35.
Her death was announced to TMZ by her boyfriend Roy Hernandez, who had just this week set up a GoFundMe page for the ailing Chase. Hernandez wrote that recently “Daveigh was diagnosed with meningitis and several serious blood infections. Her condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left.”
Damn, probably the biggest horror icon of the 2000s alongside Jigsaw.

Sam Neill (14 September 1947 – 13 July 2026), most beloved for his role as Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park.

Going to rewatch In the Mouth of Madness and Event Horizon in his honor.

R.I.P. Sam Neill/Alan Grant/Damien Thorn/Billy Weir. He was most loved for his heroic role as Alan Grant in Jurassic Park, which I re-watched yesterday in his memory, but his ability to play villains is severely underrated. I particularly loved his performance as Damien Thorn in The Omen III, which I consider to be one of the best of his career (he carried that movie). Incidentally, that was also his first major role in an international film. I guess being half-jackal doesn't make you immune to everything, you will be missed.

RIP, Sam Neill. I remember him best as Alan Grant, but also as Vasily Borodin from The Hunt for Red October. In the latter, he dies saying "I would have liked to see Montana"...and in his next movie, Jurassic Park, he's Alan Grant digging up velociraptors in Montana. Seems he got his wish onscreen.
I actually have an image of him as Borodin standing next to Sean Connery's Marko Ramius (who I used as an avatar years ago), and it's sad he lived only six years past Connery's death.
