I looked at the album cover of Akagi Home Radio by Vertigoaway. It was an ablum I had been listening to for a long time and I wondered, "Who is the girl in the cover?". Turns out, it was Rei Ayanami. I searched up where Rei Ayanami is from, it was Evangelion. That made me decide to watch Evangelion, all because I was curious who the girl in the album was.

I got into Evangelion when I was 13 and came across the soundtrack album, specifically the track titled "Hedgehogs Dilemma" and it made me feel something I had never felt before so I was immediately hooked. I spent hours just deep diving into it and ever since I've been a big fan

About 3-4 years ago when i was 13-14 I was trying to find a new anime to check out and at the time I had only really watched some more basic animes, I asked a adult friend at the time for any animes to watch and the first one he suggested was evangelion. I picked it up and watched it from his DvD set (wish i could get one for my self but my god the prices are crazy) he told me not to watch it from netflix which I am very greatful for. After I watched the series i continued to watch the movies and soon after the rebuilds and now its by far the best piece of art id ever layed by eyes on. Although I am worried for the new series.

got bored of shonen and I like big robots

I first discovered it in 2017 from meme edits of A Cruel Angel's Thesis, then in July 2018 I had a short-lived phase with Asuka's character and saw clips of her in the show. Then almost exactly a year later in July 2019 was when I actually watched NGE.

I also switched to Team Misato basically from the second I saw her in the show.
