I heard "Lovefool" by The Cardigans in a Starbucks the other day and it made me think of the Akagis (though it seems like it might be better suited to Mama Akagi rather than Ritsuko).

The song "Angel" by Madonna became like 10x more creepy after finishing the show XDD I could definitely see it being about Kaworu from Shinji's POV.

EDIT: for some reason, "Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat gives me Shinji vibes. Idk why, it just makes me think of him.

Incidentally, do you think NERV has a "banned songs" list? Like songs they don't permit anyone to play on the premises for any reason ever?
