I've been saying this for a while now. But my dream project for Evangelion would be a Dragon Ball FighterZ type game (complete with Dramatic Finishes and all). C'mon Bandai, you can make it happen!

It's funny because my brain associates orange with HA, blue with Q, and white with Shin. But red with JO? Not so much. I associate that movie more with purple, despite the official material. I don't know why...

Happy 30th anniversary, Evangelion. I can't believe this series kept us entertained for so long. Here hoping we get more EVA content one day!

Happy birthday Eva!!! Here's to an evanbillion more years. Tonight I'll be watching a few episodes of Eva to celebrate, most notably Angel Attack itself.

My hope is today (or in Feb) they do announce something - a clean reboot not overseen by Anno, as posited earlier in the thread, sounds fantastic. I doubt it; alas, we can but dream. It would be awesome if they did though !! Since I won't jinx it, I won't put my eggs in one basket. I think we're much more likely to get info on the upcoming XR game in the coming months than we are anything cool like a Reboot. Or maybe just more Pachinko... (I am HOPING I will be proven wrong.)

Speculation aside I can't wish Eva a happy enough 30th. We can only see what the future holds...
What do I do if I have theories? I contacted Khara, but they ignored me.

Now that it’s over, can the next 30 years be a happier one?

A 13-minute short video directed by Anno, overseen by Tsurumaki, Higuchi, Todoroki.

*Probably* going to be a recap or something, but who knows?

New here.

I attended one of the "All of Evangelion" showings - the one at the Mori Arts Center in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo.

Really nice venue, large 01 overlooking Tokyo (Mori is on the 52nd floor and we had quite a view.) A large number of people of all sorts, definitely not just what you'd consider "otaku."

Lots of cels - though they still had limited space, and some I would have liked to look at (ending of episode 22) weren't there. Overall though a stunning collection and looking at that many individual cels was an amazing opportunity. I took many pictures and then felt a bit foolish when they still had the book available with images of most of what they put on display, with the exception of a 3D hologram of the Wunder that had a large "no photos" sign.

I went later during the exhibition, by which time most of the merchandise was gone, though I picked up the art book and a t-shirt.

They even had an "All of Evangelion" cafe with themed food and drinks.

∆ Sounds like an awesome experience. :)

Ryuko: "I'm gonna knock ya on your asses!"

It was. Honestly I didn't quite realize how big Evangelion was in Japan (and still is) until I visited. The exhibition sold out. One of the theaters in Ikebukuro was airing Evangelion 3.33 and the showing was packed.
