Edits made to Evangelion Death (TRUE)2 from Evangelion Death and Rebirth :


- Removed the intermission and Rebirth segment (as name indicates).

- The two shots of Asuka and Shinji on the deck of the ship are removed.

- We do not hear Asuka crying when Rei enters the room during one of the string quartet intermissions.

- When Naoko chokes Rei I, the red snapshot of Kaworu is no longer upside down.

- Unit 01 holding Kaworuis elongated 30 seconds more as in episode 24.

- Credits speed changed.

-The Director's Cut scene of Asuka in the bathroom and her mental violation by the Angel is removed.

- The closeup of the hanging doll's face is added (originally it used to appear, but during the now removed director's cut scenes).

-After Adam appears on the overturned camera a flash appears on the screen before the thermal explosion over the surface of Antarctica.

- Added shots of Unit 01 fighting Zeruel.

- After Maya gags, added a shot of a piece of the Angel and then Unit 01 coming down and eating it.

- Instead of a closeup of Adam's embryo we see a shot of Adam in Commander Ikari's hand from the director's cut episodes as he and Kaji look at Adam's embryo.

- When Shinji is staring at the sunset in the lake about to first meet Kaworu, snapshots of other characters are added as flashbacks.

- Added camera shake when Shinji reacts to Kaworu's A.T. field.

- Redrawn The shot of Shinji noticing Misato when he stands still in the train station.



*Death (True) was aired on TV in Japan before being finished and labeled "2" , the changes that at the moment hadn't been implemented yet are in italics.
