Reading the interviews it appears that Anno was more interested in the revisionism and Tsurumaki/Enokido on the new story.

Worldwide distribution goes to Prime Video, unsurprisingly.

The first episode has just been released, so how exactly should spoilers be handled here? Is it okay to talk about the first episode without spoiler tags?
Happy to be allowed to come back after on full year on Jupiter. If anyone wants to catch up just send a private message.

5 episodes in, I think individually each episode is really good, but I also think they could have easily been 10 episodes with a more relaxed pacing.
It goes at a very breakneck pace all the time.

Re: Khara working on a new Gundam series
The only thing I would change is adding in the climax of Char's story from the movie back into episode 2, which I think cutting harms the narrative quite a bit. No first mention of Rose of Sharon, no Zeknova, no Sayla cameo etc. This is in addition to starting with Char's story as a point of diversion from the mainline Universal Century before going straight into Machu kinda just makes more sense to me than awkwardly inserting into Char into the middle of our introduction to Machu and the crew. For future rewatches, I'll probably just watch the movie and then go straight into episode 4.
Otherwise I find this to be pretty reasonably well paced. The action here is well done, but I don't really need a bunch of filler Clan Battle episodes and such.
