Quite frankly, I'd appreciate you not mischaracterizing where I'm going with this. You'll note that in my previous post there was no "each and every last character in NGE is cute" remark. I was referring to the general trend in cuteness, especially among the main characters, as well as to how baby-faced the protagonist was, in the context of a comparison to western adult animation as a whole.
