I just had an idea for story the cast of Evangelion taking on the monsters of Toho’s Godzilla franchise. this is a pitch for anyone who wants to try and pick it up. Mainly because while I would love to write the it, I’m really a writer. As Henry described Joey Drew In bendy and the ink machine “Joey is a man of ideas... And only ideas. Though I have a few story elements for the pitch.

Posted the Pitch on Fanfiction.net, with story elements, and even the ending.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14121839/1 ... over-Pitch

Summary: The story takes place two days after the events of The End of Evangelion. Third Impact has just finished, people are still LCL (They are still given the option to return. This doesn’t mean that people that don’t want to come back are permanently stuck in Instrumentality in this version though), and Shinji and Asuka are so far the only humans to have come back. Suddenly, Kaiju start to emerge all over the world, whether it be from ground, and sea (it’s later revealed that the Third Impact itself has begun to bring the Giant Monsters back to life.) And with no humans to stop them, they begin to take over this new ecosystem. Now as people begin to start coming back, their now forced to use anything they can find in the ruins of civilization to survive.

Monsters:

First, there’s Ebirah. Their appearance is just the Showa Ebirah in anime form. At first, these guys start out the same size as regular lobsters. But as time goes on, some start to get bigger. Since Ebirah is just a giant lobster, They don’t have any powers.

Next, who got Manda. Like Ebirah, they start small (about the size of an Jaguar). Though, one does get to the size of what you would expect from Manda. They pretty much the same powers as the original, with the only new ability they have is their whiskers function more like stingers on jellyfish (though, smaller individuals of the species do not have the power to kill humans, only paralyze them for a few minutes).

Then, we got Titanosaurus. He has the same appearance and size of Godzilla in his Aquatilis form. The only difference being that he has no dorsal plates on his back, replaced with a fin. He can also transform a more humanoid form with arms and legs, which appearance wise is a mixture of Aquatilis and the Showa Titanosaurus. The only new part added to this design is that he has fins on his arms. Power wise, he has his Sonic waves that he can shoot from his mouth.

Rodan is kinda complicated. Female individuals have the juvenile design, while males have the adult design. They are the same size as the show, however one eventually get to the size of the Hiesei Rodan (And becomes this story’s version of the Rodan individual.) . The only new thing about them is that they can use LCL to turn into Fire Rodan. All this does is give them Fire Rodan’s color scheme. The female Rodans on the other hand turn into “White Rodan” (They still have the “Uranium Heat Beam” though). Female Rodans are also born pregnant (similar to the Zillas).

There are two species of Kumonga in this story. There’s “Kumanga”, which are the ones from Singular Point, and “Kumonga”, which are just regular giant spiders with the Showa Kumonga’s color scheme. They also have the same powers, though the “Kumonga” do not have the “Reanimation” ability.

The origin of this Hedorah is very different to the original version. Instead of being an alien life form that feeds off pollution, this version is actually the mutated form of a reanimated Kumanga that came into contact with some toxic waste. Appearance wise, It’s pretty much the same as the Showa incarnation. the only difference between this version and the original is that Hedorah always admits smoke from his body. Power wise, instead of just having his “Sulfuric Acid Mist” in his flying stage, Hedorah can also use it in his humanoid form by turning one of his arms into a hose. it’s effects on weaker life forms (for example, humans) is identical to the original. Only difference is that the victim is still conscious when melting, and the remains admit smoke (which Hedorah then breathes in).

Baragon would look a lot more like a bulldog in this story. Not only would he be able to shoot his “Heat Ray” from his mouth, but he can also fire yellow electricity from his horn. This version can also use his ears to shield his face while burrowing. An orphaned junville develops a bond with “Maya Ibuki” after being rescued from a swarm of Kamacuras that killed it’s parents.

Varan is identical to Godzilla Amphibia (though like Titanosaurus, he still lacks the dorsal plates). Other than that, his abilities are still the same.

When it comes to Gorosaurus, his design is just Godzilla Terrestris (just with smaller arms, and spikes replacing the dorsal plates.). He still has the same abilities as the original, he can also use the LCL to make himself shoot fire from his mouth.

Gezora in the fanfic resembles more of an actual kisslip cuttlefish. The only things that remains from the original is is bluish grey skin, and giant red eyes. This version also uses his tentacles to move on land (similar to an octopus.). The only actual ability he has is “Hypnosis.in which his eyes glow bright magenta, sending the victim into a trance (he mainly uses this to turn his enemies against each other.). Though, this only works on non kaiju.

And then there’s… Gabara. Or as he’s nicknamed in the story, “The Dream Giant”. Let’s just say this might be the darkest version of the monster ever thought up. The original was a bully. This one on the other-hand is a sadist. He has the same design as Salunga. Only difference are that his ears and brow are not blue. He still has hair. And despite having no visible eyes, they still seem to move as if he has pupils. He also seems to have a permanent grin on his face. Ability wise, he still has his “Electrical current” which he can shoot from his palm or finger tips ( it also causes his horn to glow.). Cyan lightning only paralyzes the victim, while red lighting can kill them all together. He can admit green venom from his warts. He can fire “Smoke breath” blue smoke that he shoots from his mouth to temporarily blind his enemies. And he has “Detachable claws”, which he can throw at his victims, and are also tipped with venom (those last two are not new abilities created for this fanfic, they originate from “Go Gorman”.). However, the only new abilities he has in this story are his “Mental Powers”. You see, this version of Gabara can probe a person’s mind by extending four tendrils in the palm of his hands and rapping them around the victim’s upper head (up and around the eyes.). But possibly the scariest thing he can do is that he can access and project the victim their worst nightmares. While not fatal, it will last for hours. Trapping them in their own twisted little world. And depending on how intense, has the power to drive the victim mad (his horn and tendrils different colors when he does this. Pink when probing the mind, and yellow when showing them their worst nightmares). He mostly does this for sick pleasure. One of his victims in the story, unfortunately is “Misato Katsuragi” when she and what’s left of NERV track down her pet penguin “Pen-Pen” to an abandoned animal sanctuary outside of Tokyo-3 (in this story, Hikari sent Pen-Pen to the sanctuary for his own safety.). Like I said, this might be the darkest version of Gabara ever conceived.

Up next is Angirus. No design changes. Same abilities as in Singular Point. However, here he can still roll into a ball like the Millennium version. Though, there is a variant that can fly by opening it’s carapace.

After finding out that Third Impact had occurred and both the Angels and Lilith were dead, King Gidorah travels to Earth to destroy the planet and kill every living creature that just so happened to survived. This version of the space monster’s design would be that of Shin King Gidorah from the actual Godzilla Evangelion Ride. In this story, he can use the LCL in the ocean to transform into “Rainbow Gidorah”. His color scheme is this form would be that of the pre-production King Gidorah from “Gidorah, The Three Headed Monster”. This also makes his “Gravity Beams” rainbow colored and more destructive. He would later however have to join forces with the inhabitants of earth in order to destroy far greater threats.

Minilla is in this fanfiction is a clone of Godzilla created by the JSSDF in order to combat the king of the monsters in case he went rogue. They do this by using the technology used to create “Rei Ayanami”. Godzilla destroys the facility housing the newly formed egg. However, he decides to raise the egg as his own, as opposed to destroying it. The egg hatch’s into “Minilla” as Godzilla new has to take care of this new lifeform. For his appearance, it’s a mixture of Godzilla Ultima and Little Godzilla (Though he is still grey.). This version also tries to be Gigan’s friend, knowing he’s just a creature who’s in a lot of pain and needs a friend for support. When he is still young, he shoots his “Atomic Smoke Rings”. However, when he becomes a teenager, his atomic breath take the form of the one from Singular Point (Rings and all.). He is one of the last Nine left to fight “Ultimate Destroyah”, and is killed by his “Infinite Micro-Oxygen Beam”, dying in his father’s arms.

Gigan has a different origin too. Instead of being from space, he too hailed from earth. Unlike other versions though, he was a much more gentle and friendly creature, and actually tries to save the main cast from another kaiju. Unfortunately, he is maimed in the process. To save him, what’s left of NERV implant cybernetics into his body to help him survive (they even give him claws from a deceased Kumanga.). For his design when was fully organic, it would probably look more like this-

https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca88777 ... WuplDGwY9Y

But with no claws. For his cyborg form, imagine that but with his regular cybernetics. (And teeth, also teeth.) As time goes on, he becomes more machine than monster (Meaning he'll go from Showa Gigan, to Millennium Gigan, and finally to Modified Gigan.). He also becomes a lot more violent and unpredictable too (even teaming up with Megalon at one point.). Same powers as what you would expect (Plus an AT-Field.). The only difference being his "Laser". At low power, it takes the form of the "Shotgun Blast". In which the beam scatters the instant it leaves Gigan's eye, having a limited range. At full power, the laser becomes a large energy blast that can burn through almost anything. In his Millennium form, his laser was upgraded into the "Scattered Light Beam Gigarium Cluster". Similar to the original attack, this version would split into smaller explosive bolts of energy upon entering close range of a target, saturating the target in multiple hits simultaneously. At the end of the story, Gigan would sacrifice himself to save "Shinji Ikari", "Asuka Langley Sohryu", and Minilla, finally dying at the hands of "Ultimate Destroyah". And speaking of which-

For the series final boss, is would have to be… Destroyah. More pacifically… Ultimate Destroyah. Like Gabara, this might be the scariest version of the monster. You see, while this version of the character is still created by the oxygen-destroyer, he never emerged as he and rest of the monster were put to sleep by the Second Impact. But now that he was free, who knows what he could do. Oh, and that’s no all, oh no. You see when he reactived, he absorbed the LCL in the surrounding water. And let’s just say somehow… incredibly… he harnessed the powers of Lilith itself. His design… well let’s just say it’s this-

https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/ori ... 38/0d1.png

but every vein in his body is glowing with LCL. Oh, and if you were to theoretically look into his eyes, all you would see is fire. Unlike the other monsters, Destroyah's roars sound more otherworldly and hellish. His Powers have changed. Not only can he still use the powers of the Oxygen-Destroyer to disintegrate organic life, but he also has the power to turn organic life into LCL and absorb them. He would be turn to the individual's position, and his would glow bright amber in a blinding flash of light, and there'd be nothing cloths and amber colored liquid. Destoyah can also project deceased loved ones to a person, similar to what the Reis did in The End of Eva ( whether it be to dissolve someone, or to distract an attacker. An example being: if Asuka tried to attack him, he projects her mom in front of her, stopping the attack.). It would only take the combined efforts of Shinji, Asuka, Godzilla, and all the surviving monsters to finally take him down. Upon his death, every creature he turned to LCL and absorbed would revert back to their original forms.

And finally, there’s the Big-G himself. For his design, it’s the exact same as Godzilla Ultima. This version of Godzilla is far more regretful after believing all of humanity has been wiped out. It isn’t until his encounter with the Evas that he discovers they survived. Afterwards, he becomes more of an antihero, fighting for humanity and the planet. For his powers, the build up for his “Atomic Breath” would be different. First, the red veins on his dorsal plates would start to turn blue. Then they would start to glow. Then the plates themselves would glow. Then his mouth. And finally, he would fire the beam of pure radiation ( there are no rings during to process.). If he has absorbed enough LCL, then he will be able to use the “Spiral Heat Ray”. He can also use his “Nuclear Pulse”. Near the end of the story, Godzilla is gifted the “Crimson Spiral Heat Ray” after a White Rodan sacrifices itself to heal his second brain. By the end of the fanfic, Godzilla’s body absorbs a substantial amount of radiation, transforming him into “Burning Godzilla”. Unfortunately, his heart is unable to cope with the influx of said radiation. And he finally passes away after his body undergoes a nuclear meltdown. However, all the radiation released goes into and revives his adopted son “Minilla”, turning him into the new Godzilla.

And that is all I’ve come up with so far.

I’ve decided to reveal some of the story elements in this part.

Note: this chapter will be updated over time.

Chapter 1:
After Shinji gets off of Asuka (After trying to strangle her to make sure she was real), they have a talk about what has just transpired between the both of them. After that, they go out to search for food in the ocean , after spotting an undamaged fishing boat nearby. After a few minutes out at sea They’re able to catch a net full of lobsters. However, Asuka notes that this type of lobster looks nothing like any known species recorded (that’s because what she's holding in her hands is actually Ebirah). Just then, their net is attacked and destroyed by a serpent like creature (it’s actually a juvenile Manda). The sea dragon then proceeds to slither its head on the deck of the ship and attacks the duo (Shinji is paralyzed by its whiskers in the scuffle). Suddenly a giant red aquatic reptile (Titanosaurus) jumps out of the sea, and snatches the sea dragon with its jaws (going over the sea craft in the process. Realizing they were in serious danger, Asuka runs into the ship, starts up the engine, grabs a spear, and runs back outside. Only to encounter the sight of the animal with it’s extended and currently sniffing the still paralyzed Shinji (who was starring at the monster in pure terror). Asuka (believing the creature would eat Shinji) throws the spear into the animal’s eye. However, all this does is provoke the monster. A small chase ensues, with Titanosaurus chasing the small fishing boat (however, because it isn’t used to the new LCL infested water, the creature stops to cough out the blood of Lilith for a few seconds before continuing on). Just as it seems like the two former Eva pilots are gonna get away, the aquatic dinosaur rises from the water using its legs, and assumes a more humanoid form. It then proceeds to fire its ``Sonic Waves' ' at the vessel, destroying it. Both Shinji and Asuka wake up back on the beach, and decide to travel to what remains of NERV HQ, and gather supplies for when everyone comes back. However, unbeknownst to our heroes, they are being watched and stalked by big, insect-like eyes.

Chapter 2:
On their way to NERV HQ, Shinji and Asuka stop by their old apartment (now in shambles, and is 23 feet in the ground) to collect some things before going on their journey. However, when they get there, they encounter a Human-sized Praying Mantis that is investigating its new environment (a juvenile female Kamacuras). Like the lobsters, it looks nothing like any known species of praying mantis. They’re able to subdue and drive off the creature. However, two days later, they are forced to vacate the area when the Kamacuras returned (bringing more of her kind with her). After that, they continue their travel to the base (while on the way, raiding buildings for food). With the same insect creatures continuing to follow them (while hiding In the shadows). They are able to get into The Geofront, using a secret access tunnel near the school. Surprisingly (aside from there being a thin, red fog, and the sky blocks being gone, revealing the sky above), the Geofront, lights, and Pyramid containing NERV HQ are strangely intact (though, the Pyramid is full of holes. Including a huge hole in part of the structure where the command center is located). However, when they get to the Pyramid structure , they are ambushed by the mysterious insect creatures (which are revealed to be a small swarm of “Meganulons''). Which proceeds to chase the two into the remains of the facility. They manage to lose them in the dark hallways, and make their way to the command center. Upon getting there, they discover that the area has been turned into what appears to be a nest full of eggs (the nest is located where the projector screen used to be). After surveying the area. They are yet again attacked by the Meganulons. Only to be indirectly saved by a pair of red and brown pterosaurs (Rodans), which proceed to feast on the little prehistoric dragonflies. However, upon spotting the former Eva pilots, the mates go into a frenzy (the male Rodan chases both Shinji and Asuka out of the command center, while the female stays behind in order to protect her eggs). The duo is chased through the hallways and into a corner. But just as the animal is able to go in for the kill, it is jumped from behind, and gets stabbed in its right eye by someone in the shadows. The animal screams in agony, and flees. When Shinji and Asuka look again, they both see that the figure is in fact “Misato Katsuragi'', their guardian. Misato then grabs the two, and the three are able to escape to the outside.

Chapter 3:
After evacuating the abandoned facility, Misato explains that after coming back from Instrumentality, she had also decided to go back to NERV HQ to get supplies. She did try to stop by her apartment, only to find that it was infested with Kamacuras. After that, the former pilots then proceed to catch her up on what’s currently transpired (including the eggs they found in the command center). Concluding that the Rodan and their offspring could be a serious problem for humanity when it returns, they hatch a plan to destroy both the pair and their eggs (though, Shinji is hesitant with going through with it). After coming across a still functioning tank that was used during the JSSDF’s assault on NERV, they return to the base, and attack the male Rodan (who is guarding its new nest from any intruders). After a long skirmish, they are about to take down and kill the animal. Sensing that her mate had just been killed, the Female launches out the side of the building and straight at the armored transport, intent on avenging its mate’s death. While it’s successful in destroying the tank, it is in vain, as it gets a grenade thrown into it’s mouth, killing it from within. After this, the three then enter one of the holes in the pyramid, and ascend the stairs to the command center. But their too late. Not only have the eggs hatched, but the offspring seem to have flown to parts unknown. With their problems seemingly gotten worse, the three pack up as much stuff as they can, find an exit from the Geofront, and promptly get the hell out of dodge. However, unbeknownst to them, a single Meganulon managed to survive Rodan’s assault. And (with no one to stop it) sends out a signal to the hive, alerting them that it has found a new nest.

Chapter 4:
As the three travel through the ruins of Tokyo 3, both teenagers ask Misato where they’re going. In which she tells them that they are going back to her apartment. When they asked why exactly, her response was ”If you think that I’m just gonna let a bunch of Gi-Mantide take my property for themselves, then you're sadly mistaken.”. Both teenagers simply looked at each other. After some time, finally arrived at the remains of the apartment, only to find the place abandoned (not even any Kamacuras could be seen, or heard). Too tired after the fight with the Rodans to do anything, the three decide to lay down and get some rest. However, a few hours later, Shinji wakes up to the sound of what appears to be hissing coming from the front door. When he walked over and looked through the peephole to see where the sound was coming from, he was greeted by the image of a lone Kamacuras standing outside. With this in mind, he quickly (and quietly) makes his way over to Misato and Asuka (who were asleep on what was left of the couches, together), puts his hands over their mouths to wake them, motions them to be quiet, and lip syncs the words “It’s back”, letting them know that the creature was right at the door. The Kamacuras (having smelled the humans inside) began banging at the door with its claws. Without hesitation, Misato runs up to the door, pulls open the door, and shoots the mantis in its eye with her pistol. This causes the creature to writhe in agony, before fleeing. Misato then orders Shinji and Asuka to find whatever they can outside in order to board up the windows on every floor. While they do that, Misato goes off to fish for food. She comes back with some strange looking crabs (Ganimes) she caught while fishing. After 2 hours of finding materials, and another 2 boarding up the building, it’s now nighttime. Misato was sleeping in her bedroom when suddenly, she heard a knock at her door. Upon opening it, she sees Shinji (staring right back at her) when she groggily asks him what he was doing there, Shinji answers by saying that he had come to apologize. Confused, Misato asks what there was to apologize for. Shinji’s only response is “For failing to save Asuka, and causing Third Impact.” Shocked, Misato tells him that what happened that day was not his fault, and was instead under the heels of both his father, and SEELE. Shinji (with tears starting to form in his eyes) then brings up what she said to him before her death-

“If you don’t do anything right now, I won’t Ever forgive you!”

And not only had he done just that when Asuka was fighting the Mass Produced Evas, but it was his decision to in-act Instrumentality. However, Misato counterpoints, stating that there was probably nothing he could have done to break the Bakelite that entrapped Unit-01 at the time. And while yes, it was his decision to in-act Instrumentality, it was also his decision to reject it. And if it weren’t for that, she, Shinji, and Asuka wouldn’t be back on this small, red planet they call “home”. After hearing that, all Shinji can do is hug his mother-figure. Misato tells him he should get some sleep, and that he’ll feel much better in the morning. She then walks him back to his room, tucks him in, and promptly tells him “Goodnight”. And with that, The Third Child drifts off to sleep.

Chapter:
“Shinji, Wake Up!… Shinji!!!” Shinji felt something strike his face as his eyes jolted open, only to see the image of Asuka on top of him. However , she didn’t seem angry at him at all. In fact, she was visibly afraid. When Shinji (in a daze) promptly asked what her deal was, the only response she gave was “They’re Back!”. Suddenly, The Third Child heard gunfire and someone screaming. He recognized that voice, it was Misato. Without thinking, Shinji jumped out of his, and ran out onto the verandah (where the sound originated). Only to be jumped from behind, and pinned down by something heavy. When he turns his head to face whatever’s on him, he sees that his attacker is the very same Kamacuras he encountered the day before (still with one eye, and very angry). However, before it can bite his head off, a familiar voice calls out to the creature. When both Shinji and the animal look to see where the voice came from, they’re met with the image of Misato (now wielding a flamethrower that was used during the JSSDF’s attack on NERV). She shouts at Shinji to roll out of the way, before roasting the giant mantis. When The Third Child promptly asks where the hell it came from, Misato tells him to look down the edge of the verandah. He does so, only to see a truly terrifying sight. Below him was a hoard of Kamacuras (around 20, or 30). But the worst part was… they were climbing up the building. He’s then pulled from the edge, and orders him to help Asuka with shooting the insects off the building (he is also suggested to shoot the creatures in the eye). The two former Eva pilots then proceed to go through the unoccupied room numbers on the floor, blasting every Kamacuras climbing up at a time(causing them to fall back to the ground beneath them). Things seemed to begin going in their favor. That is until “Flyers” (Male Kamacuras) showed up. One individual lands on their verandah, and quickly attacks Misato (who had a hard time fighting the mantis due to its unpredictable twitching). Unfortunately, the appearance of the Flyers was all the distraction the females needed to finally reach the 9th floor, and overwhelm them Shinji and Asuka (pushing the Second and Third Child back to Misato’s room number). The two close the door behind them, and barricade it with anything they can find. Only to stop and run to Misato’s aid (upon seeing that her arm has been caught in the Kamacuras’s claw). Realizing it was going to be impossible to get it out with Misato and the giant insect struggling, Asuka grabs the sharpest thing she can find (in this case, a damaged stop sign she found while boarding up the apartment), and slices the Kamacuras’s arm. The teenagers drag their guardian back inside, where they again barricade the door. However, this doesn’t stop the giant mantises, who break down the doors and begin to push the barricades aside. Suddenly every living creature stops when they hear a loud explosion. And to the human’s surprise, the Kamacuras simply turned around, and climbed down the building. The three then start to hear gunshots coming from the front door. When they go outside the room number to see what’s going on, they see that the giant insects were heading for 3 Toyota Mega Cruisers parked outside the apartment, with approximately 6 people on the ground (wearing JSSDF uniforms, carrying firearms, and even grenades), as well as a single dead Kamacuras on the ground (it’s stomach blown open). Realizing rescue had come. They begin shouting at them to aim for the eyes. However, one of the soldiers (who had spotted them in the building) tells the three that they can’t hear them (using sign language). So Shinji grabs Misato’s pistol, and blasted one of the Kamacuras in the eye (the eye explodes in a small pole of gore, amber ooze coming out of where it used to be), causing it to roll to the ground and writhe in pain. Realizing what they were trying to say, the soldier then ordered her men to fire on the eyes, which worked (they’re even able to shoot Flyers out of the sky). After taking out all of the Kamacuras, the soldiers throw grenades at the giant insects (which explode), killing them. When the dust settles, the soldier that seemed in charge ordered 3 of his men to help the residents of the apartment out of the building. Now back on solid ground, Misato asks them how they knew they were here. Their leader (and the soldier that Misato , and the former Eva pilot caught the attention of) explain to her that they had been traveling through the wasteland, when they had spotted a horde of Kamacuras swarming the building. Believing there to be survivors, the team traveled in that direction to see if they could rescue them. However, Misato notice’s that these two sound eerily familiar, and simply asks who they are. To which they remove their helmets, and respond “Two people you know all too well.”, revealing themselves to be “Maya Ibuki” and “Shigeru Aoba”.

Chapter 6:
Overjoyed, the three simply embrace the two old friends before them (with Shinji having to be pulled into the hug). The warm moment is short lived however, as a Flyer (which managed to survive the massacre) climbs out of the pile of burnt remains, and takes off to parts unknown. Knowing full well that there was a likelihood of the monsters returning, Shigeru tells the three “If you have anything you wanna bring along with you, I suggest you get it now.”.

A few hours later. Shinji, Asuka, and Misato were now in one of the SUVs (with what they brought along with them), which was driving across the new world before them. When asked how he and Maya were able to get all this equipment, Shigeru explains (in flashback) that after coming out of Instrumentality, he (along a teenager he found on the beach named “Chino Hisashi”) traveled through the ruins of Tokyo-3 and were able to find a secret JSSDF facility in a abandoned fire station. To which, they discover four individuals fighting over the supplies (their names are “Izumi Sadao” (male), “Anno Takeshi” (male), “Kano Kumiko” (female), and “Niwa Isamu” (male).) The two are able to deescalate the situation, and get the four on their side. The team then began to load up the supplies into the three transports they were able to find in the garage. However, just as they were able to depart, a human sized wharf roach (Shockirus) came out of the ground. It then leaped, and pinned Niwa to the ground, killing him by drinking his bodily fluids, reducing him to a mummified husk. It then jumps at Kano (in an attempt to drink her fluids too). However, before it can bite into her, the creature was impaled through the back by Anno (using a fire axe he found on the wall). The creature rolled off Kano, howling to the ground before dying (a combination of blood and stomach acid pouring out of it). Quickly, the team open the garage door, jump into the Toyotas, and floor it out of the building (clearly not wanting to find out if there were anymore of those creatures in the facility). Driving out of the city as fast as they can, the group finds themselves back on the beach (where they locate Maya, laying in the sand).

(flashback ends) the two former Eva pilots tell their reunited friends that they've been experiencing similar monsters (referencing Manda, Titanosaurus, Meganulons, and even the Rodans). Maya then comments “It seems that these creatures might be a bigger problem than the Angels.”. Eventually, the group comes across the bisected head of Lilith. In front of it stands a series of wooden pools planted into the ground. The team decides to investigate this strange sight (with Shinji staying in the SUV, physically uncomfortable with being there). Upon further inspection, it appears that the wooden poles were erected into the ground by someone (evidence for this is that there are visible footprints around the poles). Then, Misato found something that shook her to her core. Nailed into the center of one of the poles was a cross. And not just any cross, it was her father’s cross (which she had given to Shinji before her death). And then she realized, these were supposed to be grave markers, and the person who had erected them was Shinji. Misato walked back to the SUV, went inside, and put something in The Third Chili’s hands. When he looked down to see what it was, he saw that it was Misato’s cross (the one he had nailed into the wooden pole right after Third Impact). He looks back up to see Misato giving a warm smile. All he can do is smile back, and the two hug. Misato the sits back and waits for the rest of the group to return to the Mega Cruiser. However, upon looking back at Shinji, she sees that he’s no longer smiling at her. In fact, his eyes began to widen, and he began to breathe heavily. It took her a moment to realize that he was staring at something behind her. Turning around, she was met with the image of an eye, staring at her through the window. Without thinking, she grabbed a G11 Assault Rifle, and jumped out of the car to face the spiked monster, Anguirus (this individual was about the size of an actual Ankylosaur). However, she began to notice that the animal didn’t seem hostile. In fact, it seemed rather curious of the small creature in front of it. And then (to the surprise of the middle aged woman), the creature started to sniff the air around her. It then began to get closer to Misato (the latter still keeping guard in case the creature tried anything). When it got close enough, the creature began to smell her all around. It was at that moment that Shinji jumped out of the SUV (in an attempt to protect his guardian from the creature). This only got the attention of the animal, who did the same to Shinji as he had done to Misato. The rest of the group (who had been surveying the area at the time) returned to the vehicles, only to see Anguirus inspecting Shinji. Anno pulled out his rifle, in an attempt to scare off the creature. Only to be stopped by Shigeru, who countered that it could instead provoke the animal. Their loud conversation caught the attention of Anguirus, who just walked up to them, and started sniffing the group. After it’s done doing this, Anguirus simply walks to the for a swim. The team takes this opportunity to sneak back to the SUV’s, and promptly get the hell out of there. However, unbeknownst to them, the Anguirus they had just encountered had just gotten out of the LCL infested waters, and had begun to follow them.

Chapter 7:
The team (after two days of searching) finally found the right spot to set up camp, The Tokyo-3 First Municipal Junior High School. After checking to make sure there were no monsters inside the building, the crew spent the next few hours forming a wall around the area. After this, they’re finally able to get a chance to sleep. Asuka (snug in a sleeping bag) dreams of her fight with the Mass Produced Angels. However, instead of getting speared repeatedly, her entry plug is suddenly pulled out of Unit-02. She looks in horror as small Meganulons enter the plug, and begin to crawl all over the Second Child, eating her alive (All the while, the Kaiju she’s come across so far look down at her, appearing to have demonic smiles).

Asuka screams as she jumps out of her bag. She’s able to calm her nerves, and realize that it’s now pre dawn. She puts on her clothes, and decides to get some fresh air outside (though, bringing a rifle with her in case a monster shows up).

Sitting in the schoolyard, Asuka finally got a chance to take in her surroundings. And other than everything having a red tint, it seemed… peaceful. However, this peace doesn’t last long, as while she was surveying the area, she noticed a hole outside the schoolyard (sloping 23° into the ground) upon getting closer, Asuka realized that it wasn’t natural , and that something had dug it. Knowing there could be a creature in the tunnel, Asuka pulled out her rifle, turned on the weapon light, and ventured into the tunnel. 17 steps into the hole, she came across a spiked ball at the end of the tunnel. However, Asuka noticed that the spikes on the sphere looked remarkably familiar. Suddenly, the ball began to move, prompting Asuka to step away from the strange object. It then seems to start uncurling, with the head of the animal coming out. It was an Anguirus, the very same one she had encountered 3 days before. The creature shakes its head, and lets out a yawn. However, because the sound is so loud and sharp, Asuka is forced to cover her ears. Before she could run however, she tripped on a piece of rock in the cave, and fell on her back. Anguirus fully uncurled, and walked up to the fallen Second Child (who was staring at it in pure terror) until it was inches away from her face. Asuka kicked the animal in the face, grabbed her rifle, and ran out of the tunnel, back to the schoolyard, into the building, and shut the door behind her. She then proceeds to run down the halls of the school, where she runs into the rest of the group (who had been woken up by the loud shriek coming from outside). Asuka tells them that the creature they encountered two days before was right outside the building. She then proceeds to lead the cast back to the back door. Upon which, they spot the Anguirus (now in the schoolyard) through the window. The creature then noticed the humans looking at it through the glass wall. After a few seconds of staring, the creature let out another yawn, and walked into the dead city. After the creature is no longer in sight, the 9 survivors decide that the best idea would be to board up the place, and turn it into a sort of a refugee camp until things stabilize.

Chapter 8:
It's now between morning and midday. The crew has been able to take over 24% of the building, while cutting off the rest of the facility. Shigeru, Izumi, and Chino had gone out in search of food (with Shinji volunteering to join them), leaving Misato, and Anno to guard the remains of the school. Fortunately for them, Maya, Kano, and Asuka are able to find a freezer (in the cafeteria) that fortunately still works. They are also able to find rice, bread, soup, and noodles. Obviously starving, they put the noodles in a Microwave that also still works. And sit in the cafeteria to eat (Misato, and Anno included). While eating, Kano, and Anno are asked what life for them was like before Third Impact. To which, the two share (with Kano being a nurse, and Anno being a part of the JSSDF. More specifically, he was a part of the assault on NERV HQ). Unsurprisingly, Misato is not too happy about hearing this. Anno tries to explain that SEELE had informed them that NERV was trying to initiate Third Impact. However, Misato is having none of it, asking the former soldier how many innocent lives had to be snuffed out. Annoyed, Anno tells Misato that even if they warrant planning on initiating Third Impact, she, her boss, and NERV had done their own share of horrible things too. Referencing the fact that they picked mentally fucked up teenagers to pilot giant cyborgs, sabotaging Jet Alone and almost a nuclear meltdown, being in possession of illegal clones, and the fact that her “adopted bastard son” willingly enishinated Third Impact. Misato tells him to leave Shinji out of it. But Anno just goes one, saying the only reason she has him around is because he's the last person left in her life that can “satisfy” her. Before he smugly asks “After all, remember what happened to Kaji?”. Misato (now enraged) grabs Anno by the shirt, pins him to the wall, and attempts to punch him in the face. She’s only stopped by Maya and Kano pulling her away from him. Anno (seemingly unfazed by what has just transpired) tells her that she, and her “band of misfits'' weren't the only ones who lost someone closest to them, stating that he and his brother (named “Nishi Takeshi“) were stationed in the Geofront at the time (Anno’s squad having just secured the Shelter, and Nishi being in one of the vehicles on the Monorail). When Maya asks him what happened to Nishi, Anno (while turning his head to give Asuka a cold glare) responds “Let’s just say something, or someone… stepped on him.”, before grabbing his bowl of noodles, and walking over to a table further away. Misato is let go after finally calming down, and tells the three ladies that she’s gonna have some to herself to cool down. However, just as she approaches the exit to the cafeteria, the group is caught off guard by a strange wailing sound. It was loud, but high pitched at the same time. Grabbing their weapons, the team runs to the direction of the sound (outside near the schoolyard). The sound got louder, and louder, until a creature suddenly came through the rubble and ruins. It was Angiuirus, with another animal in its mouth. It appeared to be a lion cub (but around the size of an adult). However, the baby seemed to have wings on the sides of its body. Anguirus takes the cub (while it cries out for help) to the entrance of the back door, and drops it in front of it. Misato (who is staring through the window along with everyone else) is confused by the creature nudging the cub towards the door. The cub then tries to run away, but Anguirus catches it, and breaks its legs using its teeth. Before nudging it again towards the door. Kano (distressed at this sight) makes her way to the door in an attempt to save the cub. Only to be stopped by Misato, who doesn’t want them to be put into danger. The baby animal tries crawling away as fast as it can (still desperately crying out for help), only to have its back crushed by Anguirus’s foot. The spiked animal then brought its jaw around the screaming infant, before permanently silencing it by snapping its neck. After the body finally stops moving, Anguirus yet again nudges the carcass in the direction of the door, seemingly trying to get the ladies to take it (said ladies are still staring, but now with horrified expressions). After a few moments, the creature seemed to give up.

It was at that moment that Anguirus (and the four inside) heard a sort of “cack-cack-cack” sound. Upon which, the spiked animal turned around, and went into a defensive position. The sound repeated every 4 seconds, getting louder as it drew closer. Until the creature emerged from dust it had created from knocking over rubble, Ganimes (about the size of a miniature horse)! Anguirus lets out a furious bellow (forcing the humans to cover their ears), before charging at the giant crustacean with full force. After a short battle(In which, Anguirus rolls up into a ball in order to smash the rubble crab in the face), the spiked animal finishes off Ganimes by pushing it onto its back, and then disemboweling it. After that, Anguirus brings the corpse back to the entrance, and nudges it too. It was at that moment when Misato realized the animal was trying to offer them food. Concluding that it wasn’t gonna go away until they took the carcass, Misato makes Maya open the door, slowly approach the crustacean, pick it up and slowly return back inside. Once the door is shut, Anguirus turns around, and walks back into the city. As soon as it’s gone, Asuka (trying to make light of the situation) responds to the rest of the group that at least they have more food. The three just stare at her for a few moments, before turning back to the window. Only to be met with the sight of the decaying lion cub that’s now infested with flies (either using the body as a nest, or just having it for supper).

Chapter 9:
(Note: this chapter takes place during the events of Chapter 8) the boys are cruising through the landscape that is Post Third Impact earth. So far, they had just gone through a few stores in search of food and were now going by the sea to fish. While on their way, Chino asks Shinji what the deal is with the cross necklace on his neck. Shinji explained that it was given to him by Misato before she died (who got it from her father before he died). Chino also asks what exactly happened on the day of Third Impact. Shinji (who is still scarred by the events) tells him that he wouldn’t like to talk about it. While still curious, Chino decides to respect the boy, and doesn’t ask anything more.

They soon arrive at the beach. However, they discovered that something did the work for them. As lying on the beaches were hundreds of fish carcasses ( with some having large bite marks, and some even missing chunks of their flesh). Due to this strange sight, the 4 start to wonder what caused the phenomenon they are currently seeing. They initially believe that the aquatic dinosaur Shinji had described was responsible for the washed up fish. That is until another carcass then washed up onto the beach, a giant alligator snapping turtle (Kamoebas). Its shell had been ripped off its back, and its throat had been slit. Upon closer inspection, Shinji notes that the aquatic dinosaur couldn't have done this (as the carcass had teeth marks unlike those of Titanosaurus). In addition to that, the group also finds what appears to be a large fang embedded into the side of the carcass’es neck. This is all the team needs to conclude that there's a much larger creature out there, and that they should be more careful whenever they’re out in the open. And with that, they gather as much fish as they can, and move out.

Mechagodzilla, this is a character I was wondering if I should include in this story. But after seeing the design for "Robogodzilla" from"Godzilla: Singular Point", I just thought "Screw it, he's in.".

Backstory:
In order to help take care of the reawakening Kaiju around the world, the United Nations (yes, they're still around) allows the creation of the "United Nations Kaiju Countermeasure Center" (U.N.K.C.C), and "G-Force". And one of their first projects to go into production is "Codename: Project Mechagodzilla". Using the bones of the Godzilla that appeared in the 50s, G-force creates possibly its greatest creation yet, "Mechagodzilla" (Or nicknamed "Kiryu" by the NERV staff)!

Mechagodzilla was primarily designed to combat, and destroy far tougher Kaiju (examples being Titanosaurus, Megalon, Gigan, Sanda, Gaira, Baragon, Biollante, and even Godzilla). However, the usage of the original Godzilla's skeleton, and Evangelion technology leaves the robot with a ghost in the machine. When under control, its eyes are bright yellow. However, when the 1954 Godzilla's possesses the mecha, its eyes turn blood red.

Appearances and Weapons:

This kind of Mechagodzilla would go through 10 different designs over the course of the story. His weapons changed through the story too.

Mechagodzilla Prototype: this is the Mechagodzilla model before the final touches are made, and is primarily fitted with missiles.

Appearance:the design of the prototype is that of "Robogodzilla" from "Godzilla: Singular Point".

Abilities:

Knuckle Missiles: Mechagodzilla is equipped with missile launchers on the tip of his knuckles, referred to as the Knuckle Missiles. Since they are immediately replaced after each shot, they are virtually endless.

High Pressure Homing Missiles: Like the Knuckle Missiles, Mechagodzilla also has missile launchers on the top of his toes called the High Pressure Homing Missiles. These projectiles are designed to spin through the air in order to bury themselves deep into the flesh of an opponent before exploding.

Homyu Shot: Mechagodzilla is able to shoot time-delayed missiles in its knees, referred to as Homyu Shot.

Treize Array: Mechagodzilla is also equipped with missile launchers on the sides of his chin called the Treize Array.

Trace Device: This Allows Mechagodzilla to fire small Missiles from its neck by sliding open the shutter on his neck.

Jet Fire: Using propulsion jets in its feet, Mechagodzilla can fly at Mach 5. When in flight, the mecha can align his head to look forward.

Mechagodzilla 1: The final design for the mecha, Mechagodzilla 1 has the same weapons as the prototype. However, it is now equipped with lasers and other weapons.

Appearance: The design is the same as the Mechagodzilla Prototype, with the only difference now is that it's fully covered in metal plating.

Abilities:

Rainbow Beams: Mechagodzilla can fire rainbow-colored optical lasers from his eyes called Rainbow Beams.

Mega Buster: Mechagodzilla can also fire a rainbow-colored beam from its mouth
known as the Mega Buster, which is
equal in power to Godzilla's atomic breath. Before firing, the robot's eyes glow rainbow colored, and discharge energy, similar to Godzilla's dorsal plates before he fires his atomic breath. The Mega Buster can
only be fired for a short period of time before overheating.

Desto-Fire: Mechagodzilla can launch flaming, 500,000°C bullets from his nose in an attack referred to as Desto-Fire.

Cross Attack Beam: By folding open the shutter on his chest, Mechagodzilla can fire a yellow, high-power electromagnetic beam, referred to as the Cross Attack Beam.

Defense Neo Barrier: When Mechagodzilla rapidly spins its head while firing beams from
its eyes, a shield is formed known as the Defense Neo Barrier. This shield is
effective in blocking energy based weapons, and even physical attacks.

Maximum Overload: Mechagodzilla has the ability to fire every single defense mechanism in his body for an all-out attack called the Maximum Overload.

Mechagodzilla 2: A rebuild of Mechagodzilla, this model is far more streamlined. However, this version of Mechagodzilla lacks some of its most powerful weapons (Such as the Knuckle Missiles, High Pressure Homing Missiles, Homyu Shot, Treize Array, and Trace Device).

Appearance: The design for Mechagodzilla 2 is based on concept art created for "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II''. More specifically, the design that seems to be a cross between the Showa, and Heisei versions of the mecha. Mechagodzilla has also been given a fake "fourth" toe.

Abilities:

Wrist Missiles: Mechgodzilla is equipped with panelings on the side of his lower arm that lift up to reveal missile launchers, referred to as Wrist Missiles.

Neck Missiles: Instead of having missiles inside of his shutter, Mechagodzilla is now equipped with 5 missile launchers on the sides of his neck called Neck Missiles.

Leg MIssiles: Mechagodzilla also has missile launchers on the side of his legs, referred to as Leg Missiles.

Pre-existing weapons: Rainbow Beams, Mega Buster, Desto-Fire, Cross Attack Beam, Defense Neo Barrier, and the Maximum Overload (This version being less destructive).

Mechagodzilla 3: This model was primarily designed for speed. Like Mechagodzilla 2, this version removes many of its primary weapons (Neck Missiles,Desto-Fire, Cross Attack Beam, Defense Neo Barrier,Maximum Overload, and Leg MIssiles) in favor of more high-tech defense mechanisms.

Appearance: The design of Mechagodzilla 3 is based on the Red Mechagodzilla (The one with the silver chest) from the concept art for "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II''. Though in this story, it's all silver (I do have an idea for the mecha being red though. But that will be in the "Ideas" section for this chapter).

Abilities:

Flamethrower: in place of Destiny-Fire, Mechagodzilla's nose is turned into a regular flamethrower.

Knee Lasers: A successor to the Homyu Shots, Mechgodzilla is now aimed with Knee Lasers. As the name implies, instead of firing missiles, they shoot crimson photons.

Laser Blade: replacing the Wrist Missiles, Mechagodzilla can now fire a photon blade from the vent on the side of his arm.

Plasma Grenade: Mechagodzilla has the ability to fire plasma energy from his abdomen, referred to as the Plasma Grenade.

Tail Laser: Mechagodzilla can also fire a crimson beam from his tail, referred to as the Tail Laser.

AT-Field: Replacing the Defense Neo Barrier, this Mechagodzilla is now equipped with an AT-Field. Designed to protect himself from attacking Kaiju.

Pre-existing weapons: Rainbow Beams, and Mega Buster.

Mechagodzilla 4: this model of the mecha was created in order to be a part of the secretive "Project Super Mechagodzilla".

Appearance: The design of this model is based on the Heisei Mechagodzilla concept art (The one with black stripes) from "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II''.

Abilities:

Finger Guns: Mechagodzilla 4 can shoot 4 photons from his fingers in a long ranged attack, referred to as Finger Guns.

Hyper Neck Missiles: These ones are far more destructive than the original Neck Missiles

Lock-on: Mechagodzilla now has a targeting system in his eyes, arms, chest, and abdomen.

Pre-existing weapons: Rainbow Beams, Mega Buster, Flamethrower, Plasma Grenade, and AT-Field.

Weapons removed: Knee Lasers, Laser Blade, and Tail Laser.

Mechagodzilla 5: the fifth design for Mechagodzilla, this model was created to combine with the "Garuda Mark 1", and become "Super Mechagodzilla".

Appearance: The design of this model is based on "Transforming Mechagodzilla" (The design that made it onto the "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II'' poster, and later turned into a figure). However, here the mecha isn't made up of 3 different vehicles, and the Garuda can be detached from Mechagodzilla's back

Abilities:

Laser Cannons: Mechagodzilla can fire two yellow-colored laser beams called Laser
Cannons from its eyes.

Knee Turrets: Mechagodzilla can fire explosive shells, using turrets on his knees called Knee Turrets.

Combination: Mechagodzilla can combine with Garuda Mark 1 to become Super Mechagodzilla.

Pre-existing weapons: Mega Buster, Plasma Grenade, AT-Field, Finger Guns, and Hyper Neck Missiles.

Weapons removed:  Rainbow Beams, Flamethrower, and Lock-on.

Mechagodzilla 6: Since this is the final model from Project Super Mechagodzilla, the mecha was upgraded into a more shiny, and curved design. Like the previous model, this Mechagodzilla could combine to become Super Mechagodzilla. Only this time, it was with the "Garuda Mark 2".

Appearance:this design is based on the final Heisei Mechagodzilla design from "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II''.

Abilities:

Diamond Coating: Mechagodzilla is protected by an armor plating made from an alloy called NT-1, which is covered in an artificial Diamond Coating. This Diamond Coating renders both heat weapons completely harmless, and also allows Mechagodzilla to absorb energy from the beams to power its Plasma Grenade. However, extremely high temperatures can cause the Diamond Coating to melt, disabling the Plasma Grenade , and can even cause the mecha to malfunction.

Shock Anchors: Mechagodzilla possesses two Shock Anchor Harpoons built into his arms, which he can shoot directly into an enemy to release a crippling electrical charge.

G-Crusher: The G-Crusher is an advanced version of the Shock Anchors. It releases a powerful electrical discharge into the opponent's body which exceeds the voltage of the Shock Anchors.

Paralyzer Missiles: Mechagodzilla can fire Paralyzer Missiles from two three-cell rocket launchers on his shoulders. 60 Paralyzer Missiles can be loaded at a single time.

Tranquilizer Missiles: In addition to its Paralyzer Missiles, Mechagodzilla can fire Tranquilizer Missiles laced with aesthetics and tranquilizers from ports on both
of its hips.

High Power Maser Beam Cannons: As Super Mechagodzilla, Mechagodzilla can utilize the Garuda's High Power Maser Beam Cannons, which are powerful long-range Maser Cannons.

Pre-existing weapons: Mega Buster, Plasma Grenade, Combination, AT-Field, and Laser Cannons.

Weapons removed: Knee Turrets.

Mechagodzilla 7: after the destruction of Super Mechagodzilla, the mecha was stripped of his weapons, and given a complete overhaul. Now (For a time), the mecha is relocated to weapon's testing.

Appearance: the design for this model is based on concept art for Kiryu (More specifically, the one that resembles the Heisei Mechagodzilla).

Abilities: None.

Mechagodzilla 8: Mechagodzilla is upgraded into its 8th form, in order to be compatible with G-Force's new project "Project: Absolute Zero".

Appearance: The design for this model is based on the one of the concept art for Kiryu (More specifically, the white design with red stripes, and the number "*03").

Abilities:

Twin Maser Cannon: Replacing the Mega Buster (In order to equal that of Godzilla's new "Spiral Heat Ray"), Mechagodzilla is now equipped with the Type-99 Double Maser Cannon, or Twin Maser Cannon, a Masser Cannon mounted inside his mouth.

AT-Field: Mechagodzilla is yet again equipped with an AT-Field.

Pre-existing weapons: None.

Weapons removed: None.

Mechagodzilla 9 (Type-3 Kiryu): The finished product of Project: Absolute Zero, Mechagodzilla (Now officially dubbed "Kiryu") is possibly the most deadly model of the mecha

Appearance: The design for Kiryu is based on the mecha's design from "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla".

Abilities:

Railguns: Kiryu is equipped with dual wrist-mounted high-speed Type-0 Railguns. these railguns are relatively low-powered compared to Kiryu's other armaments, and they are typically used as preemptive strikes and in conjunction with other weapons. The railguns are also detachable.

Maser Blade: A small Maser Blade is stored inside each of Kiryu's Type-0 Railgun gauntlets.

Back Unit: Kiryu is equipped with a Back Unit, which possesses dual rocket launchers and boosters. Kiryu can fire two different types of rockets from the Back Unit, while the boosters grant him improved flight capabilities and the capacity to propel himself forward into an enemy at great speed. Like the Railguns, the Back Unit is also detachable.

Multiple Interlocking Rockets: Kiryu can fire large Type-87 680 mm Multiple Interlocking Rockets, or MRL 2 Mk. IV rockets from the front of the shoulder-mounted cannons on his Back Unit.

Multipurpose Guided Missiles: Kiryu's Back Unit is also equipped with Type-95 470 mm Multipurpose Guided Missiles which are fired from its sides. These rockets are capable of striking a target from long range or while Kiryu is in close-quarters combat.

Absolute Zero Cannon: Kiryu's ultimate weapon is the Type-3 Absolute Zero Cannon, also known simply as the Absolute Zero , installed inside his chest and concealed by three exterior panels, which unfold to reveal the cannon assembly when in use. As its name suggests, this weapon fires a beam that instantaneously freezes the target to absolute zero, the lowest theoretical temperature of -273.15 degrees Celsius or zero kelvin, at which all atoms cease movement. Because of this, a target struck by the Absolute Zero will be instantly frozen on an atomic level, smashing its atoms and causing it to collapse under its own weight. The Absolute Zero consumes 40% of Kiryu's energy reserves, and as such cannot be used heavily in combat.

Pre-existing weapons: Twin Maser Cannon, and AT-Field.

Weapons removed: None.

Mechagodzilla 10 (Modified Type-3 Kiryu): As the final model for the robot, Kiryu is given one final upgrade, in order to take on possibly humanity's greatest challenge yet, Ultimate Destroyah.

Appearance: Kiryu's final design is that of Modified Type-3 Kiryu from "Godzilla: Tokyo SOS".

Abilities:

Triple Maser Mega Cannon: An upgrade of the Twin Maser Cannon, this piece of beauty is far more destructive than the original, and also has the same rainbowy color of the Mega Buster.

Type-4 Railguns: upgraded versions of the Type-0 Railguns.

Type-04 MRL 2 Mk. IV Rockets: Improved versions of the Type-87 680 mm Multiple Interlocking Rockets.

Type-98 320 mm Multipurpose Guided Missiles: upgraded versions of the Type-95 470 mm Multipurpose Guided Missiles.

Anti-Beast Drilling Device (Spiral Claw): Kiryu was given the ability to collapse his right hand into a rotating drill called the Type-4 Anti-Beast Drilling Device.

Wire: Kiryu can deploy extremely strong metal wire from his body to bind another monster in conjunction with the claws on his chest hatch and allow him to transport it over long distances.

Pre-existing weapons: Back Unit, Maser Blade, AT-Field.

Weapons removed: Twin Maser Cannon, Type-0 Railguns, Type-95 470 mm Multipurpose Guided Missiles, Type-87 680 mm Multiple Interlocking Rockets, and Absolute Zero Cannon .

Ideas:
An I have for Mechagodzilla is that of "Asuka Langley Sohryu" piloting the mecha for a short period of time (From the end of Mechagodzilla 3, up to his rebuild in Mechagodzilla 4), with one of her requests being to paint the mecha red. However, she quits being Mechagodzilla's pilot after an incident with the mecha. Resulting in her and the spirit's minds merging for a few seconds. Resulting in Asuka seeing memories of the 1954 Godzilla from its mutation, to its rampage in Tokyo, and finally, its death at the hands of the Oxygen Destroyer.

And that ladies and gentlemen is the profile for Neon Genesis Evangelion's Mechagodzilla.

Evangelion vs Godzilla: Mecha-Ghidorah

This is a creation I knew I had to include in the story upon discovering it, Mecha-Ghidorah (Not Mecha-King Ghidorah, which is an entirely different kaiju. Mecha-King Ghidorah is a cyborg version of King Ghidorah, while this is a robotic duplicate of the space monster). A fully robotic duplicate of King Ghidorah originally built by the “The Dark Mysterious Star Alliance” (made up of the People of the Third Planet of Yomi, Black Hole Planet 3 Aliens, M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens, Kilaaks, Xiliens, Natarls and Mysterians) in order to finally destroy Godzilla. In this story however, not only is this version built on Earth, but it was built by a company that exists in the Evangelion franchise.

Backstory: Japan Heavy Chemical Industries at this point was having a really rough time. Not only had their “Jet Alone Project '' been deemed a failure, they had also lost all of their fundings because of it. Not to mention losing employees (and loved ones) to Instrumentality. The Only reason the company was able to stay afloat was their partnership with the newly formed “G-Force '', helping the organization with projects such as “Project Mechagodzilla ''. But it was the discovery that NERV had sabotaged Jet Alone that really spelled the company’s doom. To put it softly, they were beyond pissed. And so, their quest for revenge had begun.

Unlike Jet Alone, the company’s latest project was kept in complete secrecy. And if anyone wanted to back out, they were “sent on vacation”. Using the technology they had been using for Mechagodzilla, and basing the design on the space monster that had recently attacked the planet “King Ghidorah '', Heavy Chemical Industries finishes their greatest creation ever, “Mecha-Ghidorah!

Unlike Jet Alone (which wasn’t known to have any fight capabilities prior to its incident), this robotic imposter was designed primarily for destruction. It’s also installed with propulsion jets, photon lasers, missile launchers, and even an artificial AT-Field. Its objective, a simple one: Destroy the organization “NERV”.

Appearance: Mecha-Ghidorah’s design is based on art by Yuji Kaida.

Abilities:

Flight: Mecha-Ghidorah is capable of flying thanks to thrusters in its feet and on its back. The mecha is also able to use its wings as stabilizers to help it fly straight.

Golden Titanium Armor: The body of Mecha-Ghidorah is entirely covered in Titanium mixed gold. With this, the mecha can withstand conventional weaponry, and even Godzilla’s Atomic Breath.

Triple Eye Beams: Mecha-Ghidorah can fire 3 powerful beams from its eyes. However, each head can only fire a different laser. The left eye fires a Heat Beam, the right one shoots a Freeze Beam, and the center head can fire a Gravity Beam.

Missile Launchers: Mecha-Ghidorah is also equipped with 9 missile launchers on several parts of its body. 2 on its shin, 2 on its chest, 2 on its back thrusters, and 1 in each head's mouth.

Buzzsaw: In addition to thrusters, Mecha-Ghidorah is outfitted with a buzzsaw in the center of his back. The function of this feature is to protect the back thrusters from being attacked from behind.

Tail Drills: Mecha-Ghidorah’s tails double as drills that can be used to burrow deep into the flesh of an opponent.

A.I: Mecha-Ghidorah is controlled by 4 computers inside the mecha. One for the body, and three for the heads. Radio commands can be issued from a ground station.

Artificial AT-Field: As Shiro Tokita had predicted during the Jet Alone demonstration, Mecha-Ghidorah is the first mech to be outfitted with an artificial AT-Field. This version of barrier however would be unique for having a blue, rectangular appearance.

Nuclear Cooling System: Like Jet Alone, Mecha-Ghidorah runs on an internal nuclear reactor. In order to keep the reactor stable, water is pumped through tubes on the front of the mecha into the core.

Self-Meltdown: in the event that it is destroyed, Mecha-Ghidorah can initiate a Self-Meltdown. It does this by unplugging its water pumps from its chest, and heating up its reactor core. Once at critical mass, the mecha will explode with the force identical to a hydrogen bomb. What's worse is that there’s no way to stop it. Essentially turning the whole thing into a “Taking You With Me” scenario.

Weaknesses:

While Mecha-Ghidorah’s Golden Titanium armor is resilient to projectile weaponry, it's not impervious to brute strength. With enough force, it's possible to actually crack the armor. It can also be weakened by Gravity Beams from the original King Ghidorah.

* The eyes on the mecha’s three heads are the easiest to smash. And once destroyed, disables the head’s ability to fire its laser projectile.

* Its Artificial AT-Field while functional is a weaker version of the normal AT-Field.

* The mere fact that it takes 4 computers to control 1 body can make operating the mecha very difficult.

Trivia:

Originally, I was planning on having the remains of SEELE be its creators. Until someone on the “Evageek Discord” explained to me that since they’re end goal was met, they would have no reason to return from Instrumentality. Fortunately for me, he was able to suggest that I use Japan Heavy Chemical Industries to bring the mecha to life.

The location of the Freeze Beam and Gravity Beam was actually reversed on the original version of the mecha. I swapped them mainly because it didn’t seem right for the Gravity Beam to be on the right head rather than center head.
