Both are melancholic and have somewhat of a dead wish, they each loved a single women aswel but that's the end of it really.
Both prefer to walk alone and would do this if possible, that said if they are forced to do teamwork they would, both would probably recognize their similarities buth keep it internal. Spike would probably work fasther and harder then Kaji (each episode a new adventure vs 1 adenture) getting frustrated if it doesn't resolve in a timely mater, that said if Kaji provided food and is willing to put up with the rest of the bebop. Spike might actualy relax to much as he looses intrest both valentine and jet would look for something that pays and Spike would occasional help in those endauvers, meanwhile Kaji doesn't need the money nor the exitment.

Spike would just cut to the chase and shoot Gendo, meanwhile Faye Faye would steal and attempt to sync with Unit 1 and
then reject instrumentality. She would then reconstruct reality so that the entire earth was covered with casinos.
I think Spike's devil may care attitude would appeal to Kaji's youthful memories but in turn Kaji might be able
to curb Spikes more capricious tendencies. All in all I think they would make a good duo.
Jet Black would spend the whole time face palming and Edward and Ein would move in with Misato, Shinji and Asuka.
