It's cool that a episode was named afhter Søren Kierkegaard I would be a weird lazarus reference that doesn't really fit with episode 16 lelie (the shadow orb).
I've spend yesterday reading up on Kierkegaard work and I'm not expert but I don't really see the resemblence filosophy.
The not wanting to be anyone has generally been done better shadow moon in american gods comes to mind.

Schopenhauer could be interesting but I know to little to comment

What other philosopher would you suggest reading up to afther watching evangelion?
