I found this interesting video while browsing Japanator.

This might have been posted before, I'm not sure - but in any case it switches the sexes of all of the Eva characters. It's immensely creepy! Watch out for Gendo!

That's because Shinji is a girl, literaly. His character design is based upon Nadia. All you have to do is shop the hair on pictures of those two because they pretty much have the same face.
