All the more touching since old sensei's VA passed away in 2015 - to the best of my knowledge he's the only member of the cast to have passed away. At least we'll forever remember old sensei and his many, many tales of Second Impact and life before it! :sensei_happy:

Yeah makes more sense to compare score when they're both 28. It all kinda depends on how quickly they rebuild post EoE, but considering the Rebuild world was hit yet worse & looks all... rebuilt... (dad joke unintentional) by the time Shinji's in his 20s, i wouldn't be too pessimistic about the og timeline.

We should consider that the Rebuild World was totally repaired by the Instrumentality. And the Failures of the Infinity becomes humans again. So, I would say the rebuilt was likely easier than og timeline.

In EoE, the planet ended with the red sea. We also don't know how much humans would want to return to that planet.
