IT MIGHT BE A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME!!! xD

To over over-analyze things, this could be him telling us that him voicing Shinji is a false alarm.

............. He's voicing Kaworu in Shin Eva instead.

Oh god if he ends up doing Kaworu instead of Shinji or maybe even both in some weird twist of fate I will totally loose my
shit xD

Interesting, all this time I had believed that You Can (Not) Redo.
Don't be.

I saw that rumor on a Evangelion fanpage in my country, but i didn't know the original source. Seems reliable.

I feel like multiple sources have stated the same thing: dubbed in January, no word on release date but it’s coming to Amazon Prime. Maybe I’m being optimistic but I’m taking it as fact at this point.

My prediction is we’ll be seeing this in August. I’m guessing the theatrical run ends in July and then they’ll announce that it’ll come to Prime in 3 weeks or so. I predict that Rebuilds 1-3 will be shadow released at that point, possibly fully dubbed, free for prime members and that they’ll charge us for 3.0 + 1.0 when it drops early August.

RIght now, the kimetsu no yaiba movie came out in Japanese theaters on october, and it's getting its BD/digital release on june (8 months later). The sailor moon movies came out on january-february, and they are coming to netflix on june 3rd, as they are getting their Japanese BD release on june 30th (5 months later), so following this, we can expect the eva release between september and december (following the later as patterns), and near that time, we could expect the digital release as well.

But all I said is just an speculation about eva, because 2.22 was released on BD after 11 months from its theatrical release :sniffle:

Well let's hope for a August-September release then!

2.22 was also in 2009-2010 in what was a completely different Anime market compared to today. I think the recent examples you provided are more applicable to what to expect for 3.0+1.0's release.
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

At this point, the next HOPE/COPE is a July announcement at AX for presumably a fall release (ideally August/September), which would line up pretty well with the release periods of the aforementioned films.

Fate Heaven's Feel II. and Fate Heaven's Feel III. Blu-Rei versions also released around 7 months after their inital release, just to compare a "less" mainstream movie to Kimetsu no Yaiba. And I just found out they even show Kimetsu currently in cinemas around me in Europe more than once.

Apparently Kimetsu also got leaked at the end of April on the PSN-Store, as it appeared there for a short while with decent quality (soo technically also 7 months right?), I don't want to sound too much like an optimistic pirate, but after waiting for 9 years eh, who knows what will happen with Amazon.

Either way, I will start now and watch one episode of NGE every week, and the movie will most likely be out when I'm done, worst case there's also the Manga. :nyao:

Do not quote entire posts that are right above your own.

And if you plow through the manga, it's always a good idea to go back and rewatch all of the Rebuild again xD

Blu-Rei, lmao :nyao:

I think Fate’s a pretty decent comparison for Eva in terms of popularity. But honestly at the end of the day there’s not enough data points for us to be able to say that blu-ray release dates are based on popularity and not some completely unrelated factors that might change it by a month or two in either direction.

What helped kill the time for Fate though was we got a International theatrical release about three months after the Japanese theatrical. We should have heard something by now is Eva was getting overseas run and we’re comparing to Fate.
Please just call me Ian, "TheFrisky" is more of a title.
