Well in that case, Sandalphon is the choice for Asuka, as that's the only angel she killed all by her own without almost anyone's help. Shinji was inside the entry plug in the battle of Gaghiel, Rei killed Arael. There's a wide array of choice for Shinji (Sachiel, Shamshel, Leliel, Bardiel, Zeruel, Tabris), Armisael for Rei.
But then again, when you call it
Tamagotchi, you should use the character, not the angel they killed. Though that would be like the Raising project games on tamagotchi. :nyao:

Now, angel's can't eat, shit or anything. Character ones would be kinda weird. A Penpen one would've been the obvious choice, as he's something that can be called as a pet.

That link specifically is not "merch" really, it's the event limited garage kits by hobbyists. They''ll be really hard to get legitimately for anyone who didn't attend the event.

Main event report is here:
https://hobby.dengeki.com/wf/evangelion-wonfes/

Under Index everything but the last link is the various companies and that's the widely available merch.

But they must be mechanical right? Seems they got amputated by Avant1.

That’s what I thought too, but they look completely different to 02 Gamma’s arms. The mechanics are on top of the arms here.

maybe the arms haven't regrown properly yet, so they decided to install mechanical support reinstate the Unit into operations sooner.

But Wille doesn't seem able to regrow Eva tissue. 02 has Zeruel injuries still. Including the missing arm.

Does anyone know the chances we'll see a new Mass Production Eva Gunpla model kit? I know there are the old High Grade ones from the 90s making a tiny resurgence in US hobby stores and weeb shops like ThinkGeek, but even the largest selection of Gunpla at a local hobby store, which also had the old HG Unit 00 Orange and Unit 03, as well as the modern Real Grade Unit 00 and 02, but the MPEs are damn hard to find. Plus, based on my limited Gunpla knowledge and my experience with my own HG Unit 01 and Unit 02, the HG models are HELLISH to pose, especially top-heavy ones like the NGE EVA designs with their skinny lower bodies and thicc upper torsos & pylons. And Anima doesn't even have model kits, so it's not like I can even jerry-rig one by importing an Angel Carrier and then graft it's head onto the painted body of an NGE EVA and use some wings from a Wing Gundam. MPEs are awesome man, why I gotta suffer like this?
*injects Angel blood* I know what the fuck an EVA is now :)

If you're looking for poseability, 90s HGs are not the place to look I'm afraid. I think Kotobukiya might have an MP kit? Not at all sure about that tho.

As far as figures go, the Revoltech MPs are apparently pretty good, although also fairly pricy

Hi, I'm new here and coming from miniature painting world. Having recently seen and appreciated NGE I'd like to celebrate doing something new with my hobby.
Miniatures and model kits, gunpla in particular, are quite different universes so I need advice.
I was thinking about painting the Bandai RG Eva 00 model. I know that there is color separation on the plastic kit so I wanted to ask here if it is ok, if the plastic tyoe is ok for acrilics (after a primer obviously) or if you can suggest more appropriate kits for what I want to do.

Since you have experience in miniature painting and talk about primer and types of paint as a normal thing, you have enough experience to pick up really any kit that Bandai or Kotobukiya has ever put out.

The RG Evas in particular are extremely good from everything I have heard or seen; haven't built one myself yet, but that's only a matter of time ultimately.

If you want something in the style of the TV Series, the old LMHG line is also pretty solid for what it is, although it does have some annoying to work with rubber parts, same with the Perfect Grade 01, that one in particular requires a loooot of patience (and also some minor welding if you want the led gimmick)

Thanks for your feedback, It was useful. I think I will go on with my plan then. I will share photos when it's done.
