For those not aware, this was one of over 40 banners which NemZ made and rolled out over a year for the 20th anniversary. You can use them by selecting the "Random" theme in your user control panel (you'll get a new random choice from them which will change typically a couple of times a day), or browse them here.

Oh yeah, i read a lot of post of NemZ (may he rest in peace), and heard about his banners. But i couldn't find the option of enabling the randomizing option till now and asking someone seemed dumb to me. Thanks Pwhodges. These banners are awesome. And i gotta say, NemZ seemed an awesome guy. Wish i could interact with him.
And those are some awesome pen pen fanarts and screen caps. Clearly my penpen collection's getting huge.

I was wondering how many of those there were (I have the randomization on), and I'm very impressed to see that every single character, even the rebuild angels, has theirs. Some of them I'm not sure if I've ever seen in circulation. Maya's & Asuka's are probably my favorites.

They were drawn and displayed over a year, typically changing each 8-10 days. We made up a calendar with known character birthdays, VA's birthdays otherwise, plus dates of specific angel battles, and tried to have appropriate banners ready for each date, fitting the left-overs into the gaps. So outside the Random themes, none had universal exposure for more than a fortnight.

As for randomisation, (a) that provided by Apache, which is doing the job in this case, is not very random, and (b) even good random can leave surprising gaps between appearances of any particular banner. The server makes a new random choice for every request, but browsers cache the image for a period which appears to be set by CloudFlare (because it changed markedly when CF was put in place).

And also it seems like i'm flooding this particular page. Few hours of posting, i was checking to see if the pics were working properly. Some pics weren't even loading for me, whereas all of these are cached in my browser. Reloaded 3-4 times to make them work. Now i'm scared that if i post any more pics in this page, it'll break the whole thread. This page needs to be filled up, but not by pics anymore. Maybe i'll post some after the next page begins.

It's not the page size in general, it's the huge sizes of your images mainly, and maybe their hosting.

Well,yeah. I agree with the image size. Hosting got no problem though. I've posted pics in the other websites and threads using same discord, they load instantly . I was just trying to mean that this page is just heaped with huge pics.
