I would love if part of the movie is super cute scenes of Rei Q discovering the world outside neo-NERV, with a scene where everyone bonds over food like that scene in the Sea Preservation Facility in 2.0, as a way to show that despite everything that happened, some things stayed the same. (bonus points if adults Toji, Kensuke and Hikari are also present)

Is that a Sony Vegas timeline I spot on the lower left of the image? I expected Khara to be using Premiere, not Vegas of all things..
I can spot audio tracks have been added in the Vegas timeline, so I assume the soundtrack has been sucessfully recorded within time and rendered into whatever format Khara uses, and is now on the process of being edited into the movie. I could be wrong though, it could just be the SFX or something else completely unrelated.
Regardless, this does prove that 3.0+1.0 is undergoing final editing, assuming AVANT 1 and 2, A part, B part, C part and D part have all been completely finished.

I really do hope sometime after this movie gets released Khara also releases a making of documentary. I'm interested now with all these pics.

It'd be cool as hell to see a making of documentary of the rebuilds, not just 3.0+1.0.

I think the 25th anniversary tweet mentioned that the film was in rush check (final animation check before editing) as of October 2 which was more than a month ago, so it's safe to assume it really is near to completion, they even already revealed the theater numbers.

Sagisu's tweet from October 30 suggested he was still recording the score, presumably the last remaining songs so the audio files could either be sound effects or completed songs that were already recorded prior to the lockdown early this year.

And yeah, I'd totally want to see a behind the scene documentary with interviews and stuff, I've always been fascinated by this tetralogy's admittedly "interesting" production.

We can also see 8 VU meters under the screen so I presume the movie will have 7.1 audio. The previous movies, at least on BD, were mastered with 5.1 DTS-HD audio
