The recent news of Gainax made me wake up from my yearly slumber, and I'll probably return to my slumber just as soon as I post this. At the rate the studio is going, I'll be here every Christmas.

I don't have a job anymore and been pursuing a career of writing. Still watching a lot of movies. Probably will switch it to anime. Nothing's going on with me.

I'm going to Japan. I wish I could also go when the final Rebuild movie comes out, but I just don't have that kind of cash. Oh well.

Not being able to go when the Rebuild comes out. I have money now. And I'll have money after the Rebuild comes out. Just not when the movie is coming out. Also I'll maybe have an excavation around that time.

TLDR I wish I had more money to go on more trips.

Anyway, I'm back. It was an awesome trip, but I'm still tired from the long voyage back.

To hopefully clear up the doubts that popped up, this trip was being planned for quite a few months and I went with my sister. She certainly couldn't go in the summer, and I probably couldn't go in that time period either, not to mention it would likely end up as more expensive (or so my sister tells me).

So yeah, I could have probably gone in June, and in fact, by that month, I'll maybe already have enough money again, but a series of other factors would have gotten in the way.

I probably spent too much money on manga, figurines and gacha machines, but it's not like I'll be going back there anytime soon.

Edit: I'll probably put some pictures of the stuff I bought in the hauls thread in a few days or so.
