They could have just used some of the spare Unit-02 parts they find in Paris to fix Unit-08, but didn't have time to repaint it, thus giving it a mismatched color scheme.

They're just generic "Production Type Eva Compatible" parts, not intended for any specific unit.

Pretty interesting how neither the lantern, nor this frame or the teaser show Unit 08's legs under the knees.

Or they don't intend to change the lower leg armor from what we see in the preview, as it's feet are already redesigned from what we've seen previously.
Also, the upper leg armor doesn't really look all that different from Uni 08-Beta in 3.0.

Unit-8's legs were crushed by the 4444C drill in AVANT1, so I won't exclude the possibilty of having Unit-08 with some sexy Bayonetta-like gun feet in the second part of the movie
