Remember that she was also wearing plugsuit she didn’t have on before (the detached sleeve models appear a little different) and Shinji was reconstituted wearing clothes.

I would go and try to mediate between NERV and WILLE. Of course I'd be completely outplayed by Gendo and could call myself lucky if Misato wouldn't shot me dead.
