You can be happy all you want.

In this moment I believe in honesty, especially if it's about Eva, 3.0 and FINAL SPOILER: Show

It made me really angry and go postal to hear, that they really dare to show the first 10 minutes.

Everyone who will see it will be punished for their expectations and hype, because no one grasped from End of Eva and 3.0, that is responsible for making Hideaki Anno sick and he couldn't do FINAL earlier, that hype and expectations are the worst mistakes for Eva and Eva itself shouldn't deserve a better ending.

Everyone can go fuck themselves for being careless.

The false hopes of the Otaku will be punished hard.

I'll face on Evas visage with hatred and anger and taunt on it and be the true happy man, because I fuck hard on expectations and it should just end.

It is time for everyone with Eva to meet the Devil again.

3.0 is possibly my favorite Eva entry, a follow up to that, finally. Can't wait.

EoE is my favourite film ever, but 3.0 is very high on the list (like second or 3d lol, interchangeable with Hitchcock's Vertigo).
It was and is a very important film for me.
I agree, getting the followup is crazy.
It's a little like travelling back to simpler times, when I was watching these for the first time.

I’ve been allowing myself ultra hype ever since the announcement this morning. (A rare thing with me for Anno stuff, seeing how slow and meticulous he his with his work the most I can usually allow myself is eager anticipation.)

I think I’ll watch the 10 min intro and all the teasers/trailers leading up to the initial release. After it’s release, I’m banning myself from all spoilers until I see the movie proper. Usually I don’t care, but I’ve been going in spoiler free for every other Eva film. I spoiled myself silly for Q and never regretted it. But in keeping up with my weird tradition I’m cutting myself off from updates after the premiere date of the film for this one.

Either way, none of the info we have so far clarifies if the Eva-Extra app will actually stream the AVAN1? The official post by Khara was clearly wonkily translated by google translate, lol. So don't get your hopes up just yet.

Hmmm... Still not fully convinced... If they don't stream in the app I don't wanna settle for some crappy camrip from LA... That kind of dignity forsaking is reserved for when the movie is released... :uhh:

That wasn't funny. What is (somewhat) funny however is the location kuribo wrote down into his account here. He could just change it in the nick of time and he would get to Paris with minimal extra effort, as it lies right on the way, lol.

Anyway I am genuinely curious of what they are kind to show us, cause so far I am only able to tell that Unit 08 is a Lie and that this Lie of Director Anno has long hands (so don't even try to mess with the Lords of Khara, lol).

That location is pretty accurate for my life actually lol.

This AVANT1 scene I give the same importance to as to the film itself, I mean, it's the beginning of it.
So my rules apply, no camrip footage (I wouldn't download that anyway) and no reading on the internet about the content.
It just might be hard to not stumble upon these things unless I cut myself off from Eva. And doing that in the middle of Shin Eva marketing would be a pity.

That would be nice to have. They way they are doing it is making me wonder two things, if this is their way of apologizing for making everyone wait nearly three years between the Japanese & North American BD releases, and if as riffraff said, are they considering an international release for the film.

While this news is bringing up some old worries for me, I'm looking forward to it at the same time.
