It might get one of those one-night-only East Coast/West Coast arthouse releases, but that's it.

I'd like the whol;e English dub of Re-build to be done in a Welsh accent. I think it would lend a new slant to Eva. Also it would end the whole Eva dub v sub debate as this dub would be so bad no one could watch it.

So...im getting the jist the these movies rnt going to be bought and dubbed by any American distrubutor until they are all done? Id rather they come out here one at a time so we have breaks in between to build up anticipation for the next release.

His scream at the end of "Air" sounded like he got kicked in the nuts instead of sounding like he just realized that a loved one got killed in a horrific manner.

Hah. I dont know...Megumi's scream always came off to me as being WAY to high for a guy. I know Shinji is only 14 but still. Spike's seemed a little more realistic.

While I agree that the "timbre" of Spike's voice acting was better suited for a 14-year-old-boy, in terms of actual emoting, Megumi wins.

Agreed she was better at acting than Spike. I just don't think her screams and voice fits Shinji as well as Spike. This might just be because I originally heard the dub first and prefer hearing Spike's voice.

Personally, I completley disagree. In a sense, she was attached to Shinji, while Spencer felt like the face was ripped off Shinji and the new one was glued on and it never really holds correctly. Just never worked.

Spike can't scream. Ogata could. People in acute emotional distress can scream much louder, longer and more painfully than calm, ordinary people can. It's a tribute to Ogata to be able to pull off screams bloodcurdling enough to be believable.

Oh, and she's not too high, my voice was just like that when I was fourteen. Ogata does perfectly well on the voice angle too.

Ogata does a really believable 14 year old boy. She also did a good job as Yukito in Cardcaptor Sakura, although not as believable for a 16-17 year old.

On the matter of the RoE dub, I hope they can get the guy who done Kaworu's dub voice in the original series to do the voice in RoE. Kaworu in EoE and the DC eps didn't sound anywhere near as good as Kaworu in ep 24.

I'm pretty sure he's one of the VAs that fell off the face of the earth.
